3D Printing and Painting The Nameless King | Dark Souls 3

Hello again fellow dragonslayers.. I've been so excited to paint this model for a long long long time. The Nameless King is one of my all time favourite bosses from Dark Souls. I love everything about the boss fight, from the arena to the lore to the character design... it's all incredible.

For this model I wanted to try out a bunch of different techniques to try and make this model look as authentic and as badass as the Nameless King deserves. So from wet blending to dry brushing, edge highlighting to OSL, I try my hand at a load of methods to bring this absolute chad to life.
This page has allowed me to share my journey with learning to 3D print and paint models from my favourite games, so I wanted to share the process with all of you! From painting and collecting all the models from the Dark Souls Boardgame, the Bloodborne Boardgame and also printing dozens of Elden Ring Characters, Dark Souls Figures, Bloodborne Models, Sekiro Statues and also Fromsoftware Dioramas, I'm trying to improve my painting skills with every video and I'd love for you to join! I think this gigachad was my favorite boss fight in dark souls 3 the grandeur and lead up to the fight was my favorite! And first time I met my friend when I summoned him to help in the fight and now we go through elden ring and the dark souls games together

I pointed it out in another of your videos, but I still love your free approach to using the brush over the surface. I tend to restrict myself a bit when painting, even when getting amazing results I need to let my hand loose a bit. Lovely work.

if you wanted to create a cracked skin effect, then using GW's mordant earth is a great way to achieve that.

Oh for sure! Ive used mordant Earth on bases, but cracked skin is a cool idea!

I really love the lightning effect on the sword. You've nealed it honestly! Camera angle is great as well, could see everything in crisp crisp detail so I could actually try this method myself now. :)
