So much good filament that's much cheaper than the Bambu filament, and available in a day or two from Amazon...
@thefamilyprintproject2 күн бұрын
we will take a look into it but from what we have experienced so far when using other brands Creality or overture it causes issues in the extruder when switching back to bambu we never had one single bad filament with bambu not one but none the less we will look into getting back up options just incase this happens again

@@thefamilyprintprojectI understand you have a user preference and that is fine. Your information is anecdotal at best. As long as the spool fits in the AMS without rubbing and no cardboard, just about any filament recommended by Bambu Lab. Every filament that I have put through it has worked flawlessly except Polymaker PLA+ because it is slightly abrasive and needs the hardened upgrade which I later did and no problems. I promise, Bambu Lab is way more expensive compared to other readily available filament. Personally, I use Sunlu and it works great.

I really like elegoo for the price. I almost exclusively run that in my bambu printers. Elegoo PLA plus rapid for the most part. @@thefamilyprintproject

Yeah, you're paying Bambu instead of paying yourselves. Look at other pro print farms. They order overseas in bulk - NEVER from Bambu! This is not a tenable business model.

We use a lot of Bambu filament, but Polymaker, CookieCad, Inland, and Sunlu are also very high quality. We haven’t had much success with 3D-Fuel- they’re well priced but have inconsistent quality.

Took me 3 weeks to get my order from Bambu. Your better off ordering off amazon. Just make sure they are plastic rolls, not the cardboard. I got my amazon order next day and still no update from bambu. I mainly order multipacks of Ender filament, never had any issue with it.

Maybe try some flashing lights at your stand (if allowed). They really draw attention. Tons of people just like to stroll by. If you flash something at them, it stops them and they look at your stuff with more focus.

I’ve had nothing but great results from eSun High Speed PLA+ from Amazon on my Bambu Lab A1 with AMS Lite. No adapter needed. It runs smoothly and is nice and strong. It’s priced well and comes quickly from Amazon. I have never had problems with it at all. The Elegoo Rapid PLA Plus is also nice and I haven’t had problems with it, either. I HAVE had clogged nozzles with Poly Terra from Polymaker. I might be a little more hesitant to 100% recommend that for your needs, even though it’s super pretty. It also results in softer prints than the PLA+, so maybe not as good on your flexi/jointed prints. Have been enjoying y’all’s channel. Thanks for sharing!

May i ask what avenues you use for online selling? Ive been warned to stay off etsy as they take a huge percentage apparently ? Ive been doing really well at markets but it maybe also the time of year.. going into '25 im gonna try branch out. Would appreciate any ideas! Thank you
@thefamilyprintproject2 күн бұрын
currently we have a full operational website for online selling and we use Etsy and me and the wife have been going back and forth if we should adjust the pricing to accommodate the Etsy cost to be factored in our listings haven't made that decision yet. right now we are just building the brand and exposure for our website. on average every other market we do, we have gotten one custom order to create and ship off to our customer I might elaborate more on this next video

My ender 3 v3 is amazing. I highly recommend it for your backup you were asking about. Bambu is good but its never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket. Especially paying bambu prices for filament, switching to a bulk filament alone would save you tons. I wouldnt doubt if bambu filament was just rebranded from somewhere else that supplies bulk to bambu.
@bryankasper69162 күн бұрын
Actually I just verified with a Google search that bambu doesn't produce any of their own filament. It's all contracted out to sunlu, esun, polymaker, and elegoo. So you're literally just paying for the name, and for the fancy little rfid tags.
@thefamilyprintproject2 күн бұрын
that's awesome our original plan was to go all in on Creality because im a sucker for what I get my hands on first is what I go with no matter what . but wife and I discussed after we got our x1 carbon it was a no brainer to switch to bambu after several test and comparison with what we were working with. more content to come covering different aspects of this space.
@bryankasper69162 күн бұрын
@thefamilyprintproject that's a silly way to go about it, stick with what you know, but they all run the same software anymore. You're limiting yourself to a name brand. Or as we like to say where I'm from, putting all your eggs in one basket. You do you though👍
@thefamilyprintproject2 күн бұрын
the manufacture of their pla is from Shenzhen tozhu Technology co. And also we only order refill packs rather then the full spool on this as well and the rfid tags will come in handy as our print farm gets bigger and we hire people down the road for easy understanding of how replacing printer filament works and what it works for us and is to our liking. it may not suit you and that's totally fine we appreciate your feed back and your support means alot to our family so thank you !
