Man you just convinced me to get into 3D printing. A few years ago I was going to invest in one but the tinkering and fiddling around with them put me off especially a printer that I had to put together myself seemed so off putting. This one looks pretty straight forward they have come a long way in recent years.

To be hones when I saw that the video has 30 minutes I scrolled past it but then came back to it later and it was worth the time. Thanks for this. I have been looking at 3D printer for a while might just have to bite the bullet and get one to see what I can do. Thanks Peter :)

@PeterLindgren112 күн бұрын

Peter, was talking with TomB about 3D printing recently. I've been doing 3D for about 30 years now (ex-Autodesk employee, turned creator, turned back to 3D designer) and was wondering about the Bambu. (They seem to be the go-to printer). The X1C looks great as does the P1S. Are there any sticking points for you on the Bambu with respect to using with your design tool? Planning to use Fusion 360. Believe it or not, my first 3D printer I got for my old business for 60K in 2010! It's so way less capable than the Bambu's.

When entering any new hobby or purchasing any tool you've never used before, there's going to be a learning curve. I've been engineering at home for about 4 years now, and I can definitively say that a 3D printer is one of the most invaluable tools at my disposal. You'd be missing out by not getting one. I'd recommend getting the FlSun T1 Pro, or if you've got about $1,100 USD, I'm getting the S1 Pro very soon. FlSun is smashing Bambu at the moment with their current offerings; I was considering an X1C from Bambu, and then the S1 Pro came out, lol.

Lmao, I have been looking at getting a new printer as mine from 2019 doesnt work anymore and have been doing research for the last two weeks. I cant believe after I settle on one this video comes out! Crazy timing! I'm thinking of going with the one right below the X1C with the P1 Series as it allows for more materials that need more heat and i dont need the other small things like the lidar. Otherwise i was gonna go with the A1 since its so so good for the money
