Hi there! I'm interested in doing something like this with Destiny weapons but haven't invested in a 3D printer just yet. I know it might sound silly but how much would something like this roughly cost to produce? I'm concerned I'll get a printer only to discover the cost of printing something is mega expensive! Also, how long would something like this take to make?

Hi, a 1kg roll of filament is anything from £10 - £25ish, and 1kg easily does this model 3-4 times. I always just go for the cheapest PLA at the time. Paints, filler, sandpaper, brushes probably around £15, but of course useable multiple times. Print time around 20 hours. For a 3D printer I personally like Creality printers, and something like this could be printed on a Ender 3 at around £165 at the lower price range, and any printer above it. The only other cost is the STL models which are either free or a few pounds. Hope this helps.

Wow, that's amazing detail and just what I needed! I've been looking to get a new hobby which is also creative, and this looks great fun! Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. I really appreciate it.

Hi, I used this www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-lord-high-fixer-12534 as a base but split and edited it to make it easier to print, and created a panther in the shield for the sides.
