I recently 3D printed Din Jarin’s helmet and I have a small printer so I had about 40 pieces, but because of that, if the print fails it isn’t really a big deal. The downside tho is that the gaps can be big and not align perfectly, but it turned out fine and it wasn’t too difficult. Hopefully I can get a larger printer soon.

Seeing as you did a video of how to add the weld lines I figured you already made one. Yours is cleaner than mine as I black washed mine. I made the one you showed in an old video but as it was my first helmet I modified it and used vinyl for the visor but I may some day go back and make a wearable one. Also seeing as this is such a well known helmet I think it would be cool to do the boba fett helmet 1 because it’s so famous 2 the appearance in season 2 of the mandalorian and 3 it’s very beat up and weathered especially the one in the mandalorian likely from the sarlacs stomach acid

since pla warps pretty fast in hot weather conditions and cosplaying is demanding a higher strength for that, is there a way to support the structure of pla? i used it in the beginning, started use PETG, but my printer dont really like that and me nether. every now and then a print fails for more importantly, i get stringing and blobs. and i can print pla way faster. since you used a heat gun on a pla and petg helmet... is there a way to make pla more durable? maybe UV resin coating? whats with paint coated pla... is that more durable than blank pla?
