OpenTopo just giving me .img which Aerialod is unwilling (unable?!) to load. You loaded a png - how did you get that? Cheers!

He opend the image in new tab and saved as png

Looks like you’re using the shaded version of the height map not the true height map (height maps usually go from black at low elevation to white at high elevation). You might get better results by unticking ‘generate hillshade images from DEMs’ in Open Topography. Still cool results though!
