Hi Ray Leung! Your video really help me a lot in stitching VR180 in Boutique.Thanks.Can you tell us more about how to set the focus length 、undistort K1、k2......
@mgbb20053 ай бұрын
Hi Charles! I am glad that you find my video helpful! To be honest, I adjust the settings pretty much by trial and error. I set focal length first. Try different value until the field of view gives a natural perspective. After that adjust K1 until the lines don't bend near the edge of the field of view. Finally adjust K2 and K1 with different values until everything is perfect. Try 0.1 or even 0.01 increment and also minus value. Hope this helps.

Hi there! Thanks so much for making this video, it‘s super helpful. One question though: Could you please explain what „LR frame sync“ stands for? I‘ve found it rather difficult to perfectly sync up 2 shots without the use of timecode. And timecode usually isn‘t possible with cheaper action cameras.
@mgbb20054 ай бұрын
@@eyeflytinkerings even I press the recording buttons at the same time on both cameras, the frame may still be off by 1 or 2. LR frame sync means I need to manually adjust so the left eye and right eye clips are in sync. There’s no good way. Can make a few claps so the audio spikes can be references

@@mgbb2005 thanks! The clapping is how i did it before, and then used audio sync. I wonder though how well this works compared to using timecode.

One more question if i may: How has your experience been with camera-stabilized footage? From my own tests it needs to be disabled and a gimbal used.
@mgbb20053 ай бұрын
I don't use stabilization from the Go3 cameras. If I do I may get even more narrow field of view. I mostly put the cameras on tripod, or I put them on gimbal.

I am very interested in vr180 and have insta360 go 3. The content of the video is still a bit difficult, but I want to buy another one someday and try it.
@mgbb20058 ай бұрын
My video covers the high level but may not explain everything in full details. The VR stitching app is most challenging to learn. I am quite happy to answer if you have any specific questions.

First of all, the hardware is a challenge. The rig is made of acrylic plastic looks like you made it yourself. Do you have a drawing?
@mgbb20058 ай бұрын
No, not really. Sorry.

Hi! What about new version Insta360 Go 3s... is it possible to make a VR camera with "s" edition? Original "Go 3" have 11mm lens, but "s" have 16mm... I scared that 16mm is not so wide for 180 degree in VR. What do you think?
@mgbb20055 ай бұрын
@@zerodivide6703 you are exactly right. I will use Go3 instead of the S version as the FOV is wider. The 4K resolution of S is an advantage but I use Video AI scale up so the results would be similar.
