The pro looks much more economic than the Enterprise version.

It would be pretty cool if you could take a clamp on 3d printed joystick handle and put it on top of the puck knob that way it will be a decent 6axis hand controller

I would have thought in lifting the "button" you would intuitively use your third finger to hold it down while you use your index, middle finger and thumb to lift up but perhaps it would still lift as you are only putting pressure on one side of it?

Does anybody have the same issue as I do? The side rubber pieces (between the 'metal' and the buttons) of my 3DConnexion CadMouse Wireless seems to be stretching with use and is now too big for the gap it is meant to be filling - and this after only using the 3DConnexion equipment for 5 months. This results in a very uncomfortable grip and that has been quite an embarrassment in the office after spending $160 on a mouse that now looks like a piece of broken equipment.

Hi, would you comment on reaching fingers to buttons on SpaceMouse Pro and SpaceMouse Enterprise for short finger guy? I have both available for nice price second hand and I wonder If I need those extra buttons for extra money. How reachable are those 4 buttons on sides of joysticks? I ask because I will need quick access to shift/ctrl/alt/space for modeling. Thanks for really useful video

I just put the Pro and Enterprise on my desk here and the distance from the center of the puck to the esc/ctrl/alt/shift keys are the same. I find that I need to look at the Enterprise controller to see which button I am about to press, especially the top 12 buttons. On the Pro, I can do it by feel and seldom need to look. The top 4 Pro buttons are easy to reach. But, if you are doing CAD/modelling, the cad/modelling app may have specific support for the Pro and/or Enterprise, and may have some of the Enterprise top buttons mapped to app functions with the LCD panel showing the function name, so best to check how well these two controllers are supported in your app by checking the app website and/or 3Dconnexion forums and website.

@@tetherscript2638 thank you for reply, meanwhile I've read that top buttons in Enterprise are changing dependant of what "mode" you are in software which sound great. the sad thing for me is that device is not supported in zbrush:( thats the saddest thing. But I still want it for Modo and Fusion. Thank you very much for hour help

Hi so just to confirm, i have the SpacePilot , the normal, rectangle version. Can this work ? And for the button, all button present on the spacemouse are fully mappable in your soft ? Just like the razer Nostromo, as a game ctrl button mapper, right ? thanks

Who noticed the same BUGS when using 3D-Mouse? - very often the center of rotation does not appear on the desired part of the model, or it can be located outside the screen. You can try to change settings - but this happens again and again. Latest drivers installed. How to solve this problem? kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5KZZqRvqruffdk

Firm are shit. I have one. every boot of iMac almost I have to pull the receiver out the usb socket at the back of my machine. its small and usually compact merged tightly amount the other usb connections, so and whilst being a small knuckle no more, and with nothing to grip, the whole deal is really annoying. I wrote to them and they said of a possible fix. I tried but not worked. so wrote back numerous times. no answer as one might expect. Never buy another thing from them.
