He most likely used the Screencast Keys blender addon for the text in the bottom right. Still a good quality guide either way even with him not manually adding those.

Best blender introduction video by far, all the others I've watched start basic then speed up and lose you in terminology, just found myself pausing and getting frustrated with other videos. Highly recommend this one to get started!

I didn't use Blender for so many years it felt like a totally new program. This video was really nice to get my orientation within the program back. I feel that from the edges/vertices/faces part on it was a bit too quick to follow one on one here and there, especially from the materials part on. But besides that this was super clear and easy to follow. Awesome tutorial. :D

@@hzisik for example, Ctrl + Numpad 7 shows you the top of the object, while Ctrl + Numpad 7 shows you the bottom of it, very useful to look on the object from the other side (180 degrees).

Yes I found the video helpful, but, I just made little mistakes on losing light & camera, but, I took my time and tried my very hardest to follow and do the basics and make my cube by rendering, but, I got used to it, I didn't even get upset or anything I just kept trying by fixing it by keep trying everything I need to try, but, anyways it was helpful, thanks for the tutorial.

it's very helpful so you can at least familar with the basic and how the menu tables are located. Not planning building 3d models from scracth for a living..I just need to modify Models that's been made here and there...such as decapitating models with different heads to make different character models. Make some fater.other skinnier...ect..ect
