Something I forgot to mention is that my Odin 2 is currently on version 208 PLEASE PLEASE contact AYN to fix the rotation issue that affects media projection and Desktop Mode of our Odin 2 on the latest build being 318! I have contact AYN multiple times about this, but if you want to downgrade your Odin 2 to use this feature or use it for your Retroid Pocket 5 you can do so.

Ha your Citra is probably old or the original. MMJ hasn't updated a lot lately and I was shocked when I saw that update 3 weeks ago, so much so I went live on the channel that very night!

I am planning to assemble everything myself except the screen, the screen is planned to have a thin bezel glass panel for many reasons including the looks so the design has changed a bit and I will be sharing this soon once the company I hired shares the driver board samples. I also plan (not sure if it's set in stone) to assemble them live on the channel. However I might not do this but once they're all done I will be showcasing the final product for sure!

could you make an adapter for your DNA Duo that fits the Nintendo Switch ? i've been using MelonDS and since you did your tutorial that i saw today i configured Citra MMJ and i would love to get one of your screens to play on my Switch with Android installed on it

The Nintendo Switch doesn't work this way, also MelonDS for Android doesn't have Projection Mode support.

So I shared an update about this because of the Chinese New year at the end of January the DNA Duo will be most definitely delayed. Plus the fact that I changed to OLED this will affect the release but I will make sure orders go out as fast as possible!!! I want these in others hands so you can enjoy the DNA Duo as much as me, and who knows maybe CEMU for Android will have dual screen integrated by then!!!

Why would you want it to be smaller, the 7 inch display looks and feels great on the Odin 2 Mini.

@geggyboy1269 no because Ayn needs to fix the Odin 2 Mini software and I'm not planning to share how I temporarily fixed it because the last time I showed Ayn how to fix Warzone Mobile I didn't get any recognition. This is also why it's not up for sale on the website.

no point. it's kinda costly for the secound screen. Unless you want to? Can get a 3ds for $30 these days if im lucky. the screen is $220 Still kinda cool.

The cheapest 3DS I've ever seen these days was $100 CAD used in terrible condition. You're missing the entire point however as does everyone else that says "just buy the original" we know the original exists but we prefer to emulate for many reasons. The DNA Duo just helps with the full experience of emulating any dual screen emulator on a device that we already own and love using.

Why would anyone use an outdated low resolution device like the 3DS in 2024 to begin with? I get it if you want to throw it to your kids, but even my kids ask me to play with the DNA Duo anytime I try to use it and they're under 9.

Lime3ds isn't a fork of Citra you're right it's the original source code of Citra reworked that's why you can still find original Citra code in the logic.

Am I the only that hears the arrogant tone throughout the entire video? Don't get me wrong making a detachable screen out of $30 of parts and charging the price of a new 3ds xl for it, sounds nice. But the amount of effort to do this legally by that point you've probably played through all the games in that library multiple times, just doesn't seem even remotely worth it.

Can you please direct me to your supplier because the screen alone isn't even remotely close to $30 so I'd love to get the injected molded shell, the glass panel, the custom board, usb c cable, box, plus shipping for $30!!! Heck please send me an email, I'd love to hire you to source out my suppliers next time I spend a year designing something else. Thanks for your amazing feedback 😀
