If you have a request or suggestion, please leave them in the comments area. To further support the channel you can use the Thanks button, thank you. Note: I forgot to show in the tutorial that you can access these tools by selecting an object and right-clicking. If you select multiple objects, when you right-click, your mouse needs to be over the object that's considered the first selected object in the set.

I was excited for this feature and now it's even better because we learn how to use it!

Btw, there's a checkbox in the Max Preferences to make Move/Rotate/Scale use shared pivot.
@MiledRizkАй бұрын
Hi, there no checkbox for using a shared pivot. But if you want to use a shared pivot among multiple objects, you can select some objects, and in the Hierarchy panel use Affect Pivot Only to align all the selected objects pivots to the same location. For that, you can use the Align tool.

@MiledRizk Welp, it's not actual shared pivot - it's Preferences >> General >> Ref. Coord. System: Constant. When active, if you set Working Pivot as shown in this video, i.e. Working coord. system is selected - it's retained for Move/Rotate/Scale.

@@RemainingLight ah yes, that's for stopping Max from using a different one with each tool, since the default behaviour is that Max remembers the last coordinate system used for each tool so it switches to that automatically. Yeah that's a good point. 👍
