I've used Max my entire career. It’s my go-to for modeling, animation, VFX, rendering-and sometimes just for staring blankly at the UI wondering why I do this to myself. Max is like that old friend who’s been around forever: reliable, versatile, but occasionally prone to tantrums that make you question your life choices. Let’s be real-if 3D software were a high school, Max users would be the “jack of all trades, master of none” kids, pulling off decent results in everything but secretly wishing they had Maya’s animation skills or Blender’s cool factor. But hey, what Max lacks in flash, it makes up for in sheer utility and a massive user base. Need a plugin for something obscure? There's probably 17 of them-and at least one forum thread from 2005 that explains it in Comic Sans. But here’s the thing: Max isn’t perfect. It’s not for everyone. If you’re diving into a hyper-specialized field, do your research-or you might end up yelling at a viewport at 3 a.m., like the rest of us.
I hate these videos.. also Max, unless you are in the Arch Viz industry, it is soo old and clunky. Really uninspiring when in comes to the entertainment industry and it is actually hated by many in the games industry. Hardly ever has any meaningful updates and its viewport is like looking at windows 95..

I went from Blender to 3ds max and dont miss a single thing about blender. It's so much more intuitive to use.
