I finally got mine today after waiting for 60 days. I walked around with 25 lbs load and it feels pretty good so far.

To help in lining up the velcro patches, slide an envelope in to separate one side of velcro pair behind the belt. Focus on the font pair of velcro then you can pull out the envelope on the other side and mate that pair. Use this trick for removing the belt if needed.

Hello Canadian Thruhiker I hope you are well. I finally received my XPAC backpack this morning and now I’m watching your video to assemble the hip belt. Unfortunately, my thruhike is postpone due to this world wide health crisis. My problems are small considering what’s going on in the country and the world. Wishing you and your family good health.

Hey Great Scott. Hope all is well with you. I enjoyed your videos. You are an inspiration. I'm heading back to the AT at Roan Mountain Tn some time in March. Knee is completely healed.

LOL at the review music. Nice choice. Me, I know who I am... I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude. Can't make that movie anymore.

Was put off the old model because of how the hip belt went through the pack, nice to see they've addressed that. Not a fan of the mesh hip pockets, at least with solid material they're somewhat water resistant

Great job. Watched the older review. I have the newer version of your old one. I subbed because I expect more videos from you reviewing gear. They sell water bottle holders for 13.00 now to attach to the straps. Looks like they hold small standard bottles and not the larger 1ltr ones. I may give one a try. Good luck to you.

I think this is what they call the “Trajectory 55L”? They also make a 35L which I am more interested in, but it doesn’t have load lifter straps, I’ll probably have to DIY something.

That might explain why another video review I saw had no load lifters, whereas the one I received did. I was wondering if it was just that he had a smaller sized pack. This pack is only slightly longer than the older one I reviewed though, which was listed on the site as being 35L. Hard to know for sure. As for the pack name, I had no idea there was one. The details on the pack, listed on the site, had lots of Chinese writing and little English to go on.

Ali Express is certainly a confusing place, like EBay there seem to be different sellers, all of whom describe things differently. The other pack you have looks like one I think I’ve seen described as 45 + 10L, which may be why this one is actually a little taller? I like this newer design better, though. I was going to DIY a pack almost identical to this, and I think the materials would cost more than the finished 3F UL pack. Thanks for the review.

I have the 35L version of this, I ditched the frame stay and swapped out the plastic mesh padding in the upper back for closed cell foam (lightened up the pack). I also have the “older” version that he’s talking about. It’s totally different. The new pack is a new volume size of a different pack.

@@mcolynuck The trajectory 35l. has its unique load lifter system where you can move the attachment point to the shoulder strap. Check carefully the picture on Aliexpress

May i ask you what size you took, bag and belt ?

I ordered the large bag. I didn't specify a different belt size when I placed my order. My assumption would be that it was also large.

@@hugolepine9819 6 feet tall and I started with a hp size around 38 inches. By the end of the hike, the hip size had fallen to 32 inches or slightly less.

Ugh I still haven’t received this bag I’m a little stressed over it. I guess the shipping is delayed due to the health crisis that all these countries are experiencing including in the US and rightfully so. I’m unsure about my upcoming travel arrangements to the Appalachian Trail.which is supposed to be the 1st week in April.

Crewzilla Kelly Stress is high in times like this. I expect Corvus-19 has something to do with it.
