I remember when I was a student nurse one of my lectureres was a traffic warden his supervisor called him in one day to berate him for not giving out enough tickets so the next day he gave out a huge amount of tickets unfortunately he gave the mayor's car a ticket and practically all of the council members he was fully dismissed from his job the whole system is corrupt and the public allows it !

This happened to a colleague of mine, he threw a cigarette butt. The guy was wearing a mask like that and even though he picked it up the butt and threw it in the bin, he still got fined. I asked who they worked for and they said that they work for the council and that this was "the new law".

I’ve always been curious. If you get a litter citation, can you take it to court? If so, at court do they produce the litter as evidence? I got stopped for a burnt out licence plate light. At which time the cop noticed a bottle of whisky visible from inside my backpack behind my seat on the floor. So cop charged me with ‘open container’. And dumped it out. At court my lawyer asked to see the ‘evidence’, which they ‘dont store’, then my lawyer asked which lab they sent the bottle to to have the unknown liquid tested, they didn’t. Case dismissed.
