Cherry MX Milk (also called Cherry MX White) are lubed blues. They've been in production for a very long time and are genuine Cherry switches, but they're just not popular and are usually harder to find. I think they're actually very pleasant, though! Getting an order of those would save a bunch of time as opposed to lubing blues since they're already factory lubed.

I think it would make for a great video for all the people interreste dby spray lubing :) Anyways, great video as always !!
@3ildcat3 жыл бұрын
In Korea, we tested several sprays and we found out this one is the best option for now. We know the problem is the contact part. So it can be easily fixed by BW-100 (contact cleaner), cleaning the contact, replacing ruined switch and so on.
@guilhemjusserand32053 жыл бұрын
@@3ildcat Yh but a lot of your viewers dont live in Korea D: so it would be cool to see what other wide-spread lube works too. Also what about optical switches? People say they get ruined by spray lube but how can that be if the part that breaks in the contact?
@3ildcat3 жыл бұрын
@@guilhemjusserand3205 Optical switches = no contact = safe as long as you lube them out of the plate (on the plate, spray can cover the optical sensors) As I live in Korea, it's not easy to buy other sprays. They don't ship to Korea. I hope other youtubers in US test other sprays in better way like the syringe needle method.

Tomorrow, I did something pretty interesting with my outemu blues, and made them actually sound decent. Basically, I've got a super budget board, called T-dagger Bora, and it has outemu blue switches. For a backstory, I paid 120 reais on it (around 22 dollars), and it is made for brazil especially if I'm correct. As I didn't really liked the sound of the switches and they felt really scratchy, I tried doing kind of a mod with them. Basically, I sanded the stems to remove the tactility and bent a little bit the metal leafs, to remove the click. After that, I lubed it a bit with silicone spray, as I don't have any kind of keyboard lube at home, and they are really expensive in Brazil. The switches turned out to sound quite decent, even though the stabs are quite awful, even after clipped and lubed. here is a quick sound test: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3zFfKppjsyrhKs btw I'm probably going to make a video with an actual handcam, and show how I did this mod.

How do you get the dielectric grease to go so easily through a needle? I can't even squeeze it through a spinal needle. That way the lube has less of a chance of going between the contacts?
