@8:33 120 days buys you until after the election. The constituents have been screaming about infrastructure and uncontrolled growth and TRAFFIC TRAFFIC TRAFFIC. Most citizens don't see the water/wastewater issue that's perhaps more serious than the roadway situation. But 120 days lets you appear to be doing something right before the election, then you can get back to rampant growth once that's past.

Doesn't really matter, the outlying areas outside of Princeton city limits are still building so it really doesn't matter. All this will do is focus new builds outside of the city taking up additional farmland but the growth will still continue and the roads will continue to be congested. 120 days buys an attempt at reelection and an appeasement to the voters in the city.

I wanted to move to Princeton next year. Now what am i going to do?

Princeton needs better roadways to Melissa/Anna, which would serve as alternate ways to get on 75 instead of 380.

I have a home in Josephine that is assumable at a 2.75. just need to find a buyer who has $130,000 to pay off... 😅

I live in the Wylie/Sachse area which next to Princeton. The traffic is crazy to Princeton. It's too many people moving here. I moved out here in 2003 when it was nothing but farmland. Now every patch of land is being developed. The homes are dirt cheap in Princeton, but I was told the ultitlies are very high.

I stay in McKinney, right next to Princeton, and from 3:30pm to 7pm you CANNOT get to Princeton because 380 is jam packed and is horribly heavy with traffic M-F

Highly doubt the prices will be going up, even if they don't build new homes. The housing crash in Texas just started and no one's buying right now. Just take a look at the listings for sale. Most homes have been on the market for 90 days +, and price drops are everywhere! I've seen houses with price drops of over $100k and they're STILL not selling. Wait about 2 years before buying if anyone wants a good price on homes.

I think this is a reasonable and responsible approach. As someone who lives in a rapidly growing “small town” just out side a big city. All the things mentioned should be considered, probably before these communities are approved though.

Honestly, definitely need it because look at what happened with Aubrey/Providence village. 380 is a disaster because the city grew faster then they could expand infrastructures.

Do you have information about the amenities and builders in the meadows of yellow brick road? Or do the houses just fall from the sky?

This is good news too much building going on in dfw there has to be some cooling period. Give the builders chance to complete and sell all their phases.
