3rd Gen 4Runner Cup Holder Upgrade

In this video I get a new cup holder for my 1997 Toyota 4Runner.
If you own this car you know that the cup holders in it are flimsy, weak, and small. Also completely in the way of climate controls and radio visibility when you are using them. Due to this I looked for an alternative option and I was able to find one on eBay. It is a 3D printed cub holder that you put on the side of the transmission tunnel near the passenger, by the shifter.
I know that cup holders isn't an exciting subject but for some reason after needing to use the stock one numerous times I have come to realize quickly that even an item like a cup holder can become incredibly annoying. Weirdly I was able to get similar satisfaction in finding a solution for this annoyance just like I would get satisfaction doing a proper mod on a vehicle. Hope this video helps you. Honestly love what these 3D printed stuff can do. They definitely add a lot of possibilities for things you don't realized you need. Phone holder though would've been nice if it was vertically mounted instead of sticking out diagonally.

How is it shifting into gears now when you have water bottles closely up against the shifter?

Honestly not bad at all. Really doesn't bother me. It rare that I have bottles in there all the time. It's just slightly inconvenient when you have to shift but you get use to it quick. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.
