3rd Gen Dodge Ram beltline trim replacement. Window trim replacement.

The part numbers of the weather strips are 55277186AD and 55277187AD for the windshield moldings. The door belt weather strips are 55276202AH, 55276203AH, 5527030AD, and 5527031AD. Those are for the Meg Cab. The front doors should be the same on all of the trucks I would think.

@@jonleone777 I ordered it from Rock Auto. Be careful, Rock Auto's diagram shows that the front and rear trim are the same. They aren't as the rear is longer. Rock Auto didn't want to take the rear trim back. I ended up getting the rear trim from Dodge for double the price.

I have ZERO EXPERIENCE in anything auto related.May A posts are leaking I took my truck to the dealership they told me that my sunroof on my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 was misaligned so I had to pay $250 to have that realigned then they told me that my third brake light or cargo light needed to be replaced ~ I'm looking for that aftermarket cuz they want over $3oo part cost, then 100 to install. to install it! So although I am nervous to do this myself I'm more nervous and so is my bank account to pay the dealer 😪 next is the door seals so of course I'm pretty overwhelmed if you ask me about how to get your nails done or about cooking I'm pretty good at that stuff or I can figure it out but I'm at a disadvantage working on vehicles I sure wish my father was still alive 😢 I appreciate this video you made it look simple . I truly hope it is otherwise may I have your address so that I can come over and you can teach me LOL

I recommend you change out your rear cab vents . They are most likely SHOT if you have not replaced them. I found out the hard way when mine started to leak water into my rear cubby compartments. They are these flapper vents that allow air to leave the cab when you close your door without your ears getting rung. They are behind your rear seat. They flap open when the door gets close and it lets air bleed out .

Yeah there are 1 or 2 aftermarket places to get them ,which is completely insane because it's such a common problem on these trucks..love my ram but dodge really cheaped out or just poor materials. Either way they suuuuuck! I've literally never seen a 3rd generation that didn't need them replaced. Garage kept or show truck, they just suck..my recommendation and as much as I hate to say it is the dealer ugh ..be prepared to faint if you buy all four doors..just simply my opinion but they cost about 6 times what I thought they should. But what can you do:/

How do you replace the upper part of the seal?

The piece around the glass? You have to remove the door panel and remove the window then it will pull out. I think. Those were fine on mine but I have replaced them in older vehicles.

As far as I know it just covers up the joint where the panels are spot welded together. I’m not an expert though.
