Crazy I’m watching a year later but I just purchased 2013 ram crew cab 1500 in the same color grey. Literally was looking around trying to find someone with the same color truck to see how it would look great video

Haha glad you liked it Jose! My vinyl was getting pretty cracked. I like it much better with the factory paint showing but to each their own I guess. Lol. Plus you can tell yours apart from All the other Rams if you do this!

Thanks for sharing! I should’ve did this when I have my rubber window trim off Friday. Glad I went with the in channel window visors… I bought high gloss black vinyl to replace this stuff I’ve seen it on other trucks where it blends with tinted windows.

Thanks for sharing this video, I also have a 2013 Ram the same color. I was taking the adhesive off from vent visors because one flew one night. I was using the rubber disc and I got down into the black vinyl and took it off but I am going to try your way on the other side.

Hey Mike. I had great results with the heat gun. That area can actually take a lot of heat and it doesn’t take much to release the adhesive so you can’t go wrong unless you go overboard with the heat. I always use heat for any type of vinyl or stickers. If you feel comfortable controlling the heat I think it’s the way to go.

What year Ram is this?? I'm wanting to do this but I've heard the 19 and above have a clip vs solid painted panel.

This is a 2013. I haven’t tried it on a 19 yet. I’ll check into that and get back to you.

I've heard WD'40 works pretty well to remove the adhesive...

Hey I just wanted to give you a little tip but I have used silicone spray to remove adhesive and it seems to work very well

Mine is a 2013 so the vinyl is cracked. Personally, I like the way it looks on my white truck. I will probably remove it and have it redone. Thanks for the tips!
