They make a 127psi 525lph now...just FYI for anyone that comes by.. Also I went thru similar and man you would be surprised what the PUMP SEES as pressure after several fittings ( which inside diameters are smaller than the hose...for instance a -10AN fitting ID is about the same as 8AN hoss...now you got thru several then a 10 micron inline filter a few 90s and push it 15ft against gforces those 87psi internal reliefs open...

Racetronix makes everything needed for a slick dual pump setup in 3rd gen cars. The billet coupler that ties both pumps together is awesome

Matt, years ago I was going by to try and run a stainless fuel line. I bought the tubing and realized I was nuts. If I were doing it now, I would use NiCopp tubing. It's very popular now for brake lines. easy to bend and will not corrode

You seem like such a nice guy, and you know your shit. I wish you'd get sponsored, someone needs to pay you to make more videos. Nothing crazy but I'm gonna need a video a day from you. I feel that I should send you something just so you know someone other than Rich enjoys your content. I know KZbin has demands and sometimes you want to throw in the towel... Hey, Matt I've followed your channel for awhile and have commented before but what tire and wheel set up do you have on your Camaro? I'm trying to find a new set of tires and wheels for my 89 and can't find anything wide enough in the rear, besides the Jeggs website and it's almost 2,000$ just for wheels!

Not sure I'd trust JB weld to hold up to gasoline. I've seen it degrade and soften up after not too long. I think the ethanol eats it. I used it similarly on a sending unit to seal some wires going through a tube and it softened up on me after a couple years.
@lsxmatt4 жыл бұрын
Well see how it goes. Hopefully it holds up better than that cheap heat shrink!
@TheBreaded4 жыл бұрын
@@lsxmatt Right on. With the gas tank flap it's not like it'd be hard to keep an eye on. Love your stuff man, I'm piecing together the last parts I need for my LSA swap on my LQ4 Chevelle. On the fence about the fuel pump, was thinking of the hellcat pump but given your issues makes me wonder if they don't retrofit well or if there are a lot of knockoffs out there or something.
@lsxmatt4 жыл бұрын
I think my pump is just cheap knockoff garbage. I had the same issue with my 400 the first time I put the blower on. Tunetime swapped it out for a genuine 400 and the drop off issue was fixed. If you get a 525 definitely buy it from a reputable retailer! Also do a -8 feed.

TheBreaded I just put the hellcat pump into a tank sink notched tank for my 72 el Camino. Talk about a tight fit. I’m still na for now but everything is working well.
