I replaced my 07 SRT battery, still had the factory battery in it with 06 stamp factory date and mopar sticker...I hope the new one will give me at least several years of no worries (BTW the battery didn't even need replaced, as I misdiagnosed it...was the key ignition solenoid the whole time)

Nice approach doing all the grunt work which helps. You can have show car results with a plastic spray booth with two fans. Great Iroc . I drove a lot of those as part of my job in high school at the local Chevy dealer in 1988. I lived the Ferris Buhler life. Doing test drives for the mechanics so they could move onto the next job. They would punch in they were doing a test drive and give me the keys. I'd be out drag racing customers cars on the boulevard and generally having a good time. I was happy that they hated climbing in and out of the occasional Euro sports car trade in and any of the corvettes. Best part is I was the shuttle driver that picked the customers up at their homes or dropped them off. Dude I picked up with the shuttle asked how his new clutch was in his Iroc ?,and I could only think of the patch I laid out breaking it in. Driving greenwood vettes as an eighteen-year-old made up for the $5.50 and hour they paid me.

Off topic but I wanted to say thank you for the videos. I bought a 03 suburban on the cheap. Your videos helped me navigate through repairing items and doing preventative repairs before they failed. The suburban is an excellent SUV and the 5.3 is damn near bulletproof. Still a work in progress but your videos so far have guided me through a lot of pitfalls. Thanks!

Old luxury cars with R12 would get so cold you would get an A/C headache. Your forehead would hurt from the upper vents.

Speaking of the seats. I don’t know, man I think the seat shop is so overpriced. I got some good Ebay faux leather replacements and they lasted me over a year so far with no issues. And they look great. I think they were like 60 bucks each. I just couldn’t justify the hundreds and hundreds of dollarsfor the seat shop covers.

i ended up getting a 2015 style fob and using a key fob case from AJT Designs. got tired of the cheap gm fob and the buttons wearing off. feels more rugged so far.

Had the Service Suspension code come on. Turns out the connector of the front, driver side shock had fallen off the post. Reconnected. Cleared the code. Code returned couple of months later. Can't locate the problem. Rear shocks inflated, compressor works. All four shocks are generic brands. Worked well for a while.

Thanks for this! I've been meaning to look into it, as the passenger door opening will turn off the stereo, but the driver side stopped a year ago. Got my new latch on order (I went with a Dorman piece)!

This video should be removed. It's meant for older GM's (2014 and older) mostly because these rust buckets won't last any longer. You need to buy a 'special tool' to twig the tires now! Gotta have the tire pressure registered on your dash for safety BUT Elon doesn't need any safety warnings on his vehicles that tell you it's auto drive is on the fritz! Yup, quite the world we're building for future generations.

Black 30 min epoxy panel bond from the automotive paint store for the top plastic piece... Need the special gun and a bag of nozzles. I use that on everything. Leave nozzle on after. Next time you need it, twist off 'set' epoxied nozzle & put a new one on and go again.Weeks or months later... I swear by it.

I got a costco card , interstate $120 and much better quality and no problem with it in my luck.. Agm around $160 ish...
