The sensor to properly install you need to take the 2 metal pieces off the old one, the threaded pieces and they slot into the new one so you have threads to attach the sensor to the new grill. Also, for the add a fuse the trap door method is the way to go so the fuse box cover don’t pinch the wire

Looks great. Thanks for sharing. However, I was wondering if anyone knew how to solve the fog light fuse and the letter lights not shutting off? Also, I tried to hook mine up to the headlamp like in this video, but I had the same issue. When I turn the lights off, or turn off the truck, the lights stay on. Anyone know of a way around this issue? Thanks in advance.

Great easy to understand video! Do you know how to wire raptor lights in addition to the letters . I have seen videos of either raptor lights or the Tacoma letters lighting up, but never a video on how to do both. Although I have seen pics of them lit up together.

Great videos man! Question. When you swapped the TRD grill for the TRD pro grill did you have any issues with the TSS sensor? Given that it's now at a different height did your truck have an issues with the relocation?

Nah no issues, I put it on most sensitive and tested it all good

Man... the teo hardesy parts are unplugging the tas sensor and taking the tss senor wiring odd the old grille and you skipped them both.

Yes, by connecting both the red wires of the lighted letters and raptor lights, to the same add a fuse.

I like it when it is off. I think "Toyota" in white letters looks classic and the letters do look like good quality. Did it come with the garnish? Or was that extra from some other vendor? By the way....another question. Why did you take the red "Trd Off Road" sticker off of the truck only to add more red back to the wheel's center caps? Just curious. Thanks!

@@TheUnrestricted It absolutely does! Red and green are opposite colors so there is a real pop when you have red on green, especially that mid to dark Army Green color. Your black sticker looks fine, but the original red version would have tied in nicely with that touch of red on the wheels! I did see where the garnish was included...I didn't see it in the packaging when I first watched your video. That's nice that it was included! Thanks for posting a video on this new grille by the way!
