3rd Generation Conversation: Rachel and her grandfather David - Remembering Together

Grandpa David, a Holocaust survivor from France, in conversation with his granddaughter, Rachel, about immigration, the Holocaust, Zionism, and being pro-Israel in the age of social networks.
"People would wait for me when the school was closed to call me a dirty Jew." David immigrated to the United States and hoped that he would no longer encounter antisemitism - but reality hit him. In a conversation with his granddaughter, Rachel, he tells her why he is bothered by the biased reports against Israel in the American media, and she shares with him what it entails to be Zionist and pro-Israel in the age of social networks.
3rd Generation is a digital network series of conversations between American and Israeli Jewish grandparents and grandchildren, which emphasize the differences between the younger generation and the older generation. The series presents the different and similar perceptions of Jewish identity by age, as it deals with different topics of attitudes towards Israel, Jewish identity, and of course the warm relationship between grandchildren and grandparents.
