@@haera999 and can I see in what year was the survey done? because during Lovelyz's and GFriend's debut era, Lovelyz was also very well known among knetz for their vocal skills. I followed both groups quite closely during their prime years, when knetz mentioned vocals, Lovelyz was more known than GFriend in the vocal department (from what I remember seeing on Pann/DC/etc. back in the days, the general consensus was Lovelyz = everyone sings and harmonizes well, GFriend = only Yuju is an exceptional singer, the rest are mediocre). But if the survey was done after 2018, I agree that GFriend took Lovelyz's place, because Lovelyz was already forgotten because of Woollim's mismanagement of the girls. So naturally people started to forget about Lovelyz and more people started to discover GFriend's vocal talent.

@tf_uwu Well in order to identify that note you need to play it on piano or a more accurate tuner. Just because it's feels higher it doesn't makes it does. Plus the vowels also plays part,open vowels tends to make something felt harder/higher,not to mention that the F#5(not G#5 definitely) are belted while in Apple the G5 was in closed vowels (ba MI wa) and it was phrased so it's much easier to do. Less vocal stretch are need for it to peak at that G5.

Yerin and SinB highest note was F5(Sunrise and Tftmn w/o Yuju) Sunrise only went up to F5 Immortal Songs,the highest note belted was F#5. In Butterfly stage the highest note Yuju hit was F5.

Yes. This kind of stigma is very urge to stop, the same with loud belting = hitting high notes = proper techniques = good vocalists, which is very untrue. To just hitting a note is easy, but how you hit'em properly and healthily is that the hardest and the most important part. That is what differs Yeonjung from Wendy, even when she hit the highest notes mentioned here.
