The irony is Sunny did not like her voice in SNSD songs. According to her, the producers wanted a certain style from Sunny in their songs. "I'm not sure what I like and what I should do, since I was always part of a team. In the team, I was always like the MSG in food. Producers wanted something from me that matched the team's style, and that was an artificial kind of voice. When I sang normally, they didn't like it, and my self-esteem fell drastically."

The thing with Sunny is she didn't like how she was forced to sing on SNSD songs. The producers didn't like her normal singing voice and had her sing in what she described as an artificial voice. She felt like she was the MSG of the group and when they would criticize her her self esteem suffered. It's probably a big reason why she really didn't have a solo career as a singer.

I don’t know where the creator of the video got their information but Luna definitely can’t belt the highest. Wendy’s vocal range alone starts at c#3 and goes as far as Eb7 in the 7th octave (whistle notes) giving her a 4 octave 1 semitone range where Luna only has a 3 octave 1 semitone range. Luna tends to lacks consistency in support with notes E5 and above. The creator of this video definitely didn’t do their research because Wendy has shown supported live belts in head voice up G6 and Bb5.

@@Hyxnjxn bro that's embarassing, singing in head voice is not the same thing as belting, and Luna actually has a better head voice than Wendy, with consistency in Bb5, while Wendy might have shown some Bb5, she isn't consistent as she is with A5 and hasn't had many opportunities to sing higher than that. And Luna's consistent with belting above D5 with support, while Wendy's D5s can be hit or miss sometimes even though she has greater ease belting above that than all the other vocalists in this video apart from Luna and Lina

Its called mixed voice. It's actually grounded in the chest voice, like belting, but mix can get very light with the sound and feeling in a singer's voice depending on their placement. Belting and mixing lay in the same place in a singers voice and both require similar foundations. More skilled singers can choose to sing a note with a belt, heavy mix, balanced mix, or a light mix. For Sopranos, it's not possible to do a true belt at E5 and above as the technique is too heavy for the voice to cary that high. What they do is called a mix belt (if not just straight up mixing) and they can do this with a heavy mix (risky) and a balanced mix. Sunny and NingNing r examples of the light mix being used, and everyone who did the E5 are using mixes their respective clips, except Luna, who is doing a mixed belt. The techniques sound super similar but aren't worth obsessing over unless ur gonna perform the notes urself. Also strong head voice sounds different from a mix. It's likely to sound more operatic.

Vocalists can support notes that are higher than their original supported range.. Ningning's support extends up to C5/C#5 but she has got Eb5 at best, with some D5's. Winter's support extends up to B4 but has got C#5 at best with some C5's, for example.
