I agree with Ben. This wasn't my favorite performance of theirs but I still love their arrangements. I didn't think that they needed Shawn's help on that one. But Jewel was right. The smiling and happiness can only go so far. I do want to see some genuine emotion ( granted they could just be happy people but still lol) Breakdown was great. Harmonies tight. B+

When they broke down they reminded me on Pentatonix as they did that a lot. The riff that happened near the end also reminded me of Scott as he also did that a lot while the group continued epically. The performance was good but I thought that it could have been better. I wasn't as excited about this song as I was about the others. Good band though.

Robert Sloan Screw Pentatonix. Talented but overkill on some of their arrangements. Kinda getting sick of how some folks come into other group's videos and wax poetic about PTX's greatness. They're good but not the be all and end all of accapella.

not true at all. Sure Ptx is great and all, but theres other groups that have their own technique and make it sound awesome. The Filharmonic and VoicePlay are outstanding acapella groups.

What's kind of ironic is that VJ is the only one who's enormously smiley. The others seem pretty stoic the whole time, but VJ is the one whose expression matters the most since he's the solo. It's just unfortunate that one person's facial expression muddled the mood of the song. Other than that, it was a stellar performance.

I feel like towards the middle of the song, their beat fell a little off. However, when they got to the breakdown, it was awesome. Overall, in my book, id give it a B, mainly because i think that they should have carried out that sort of classic philipino beat as they called it. :)
