Damn dude what a great video! so very well-structured with a lot of info! would u mind to do a similar video but talking about what to side against the various match ups? expecially what to side out. that i think imho that the most difficoult thing in frog, for me, is what to side out vs the various deck but without hurting the core engine. in particular in the frog hero deck that u have 2. it would be very helpful. as always waiting for u next videos🥰

I’ve been going with a Diva frog build with 2 junk Synchron, 3 Enemy Controller and treach. The dark armed, stuff is really strong too but this build definitely influenced my Diva Frog deck to become even better. Easy Armory + Colossals all day.

Catastor Tytannial. The rest of the matchup is really easy because they can't get amaryllis back from banish.

They play Burial, Return and DDR and a lot of them are on d prisons and wing blasts now so I do like the cold wave and Mobius. I also have issues in the frog mirror when some people are on 3 e con, 3 soul ex and 2 creature swap @@SunnyYGO

@@Sparkling.Sylveon Burial has been cut in many lists recently after removing volcanic counters in favor of options like Return. Return and DDR cannot summon Amaryllis. I don't have a good answer for you regarding enemy controller and cards that take your monsters. There's no easy solution, you just have to play with fundamentals and trade more efficiently. Frog mirror is a lot about collecting information and trading threats.

What's the plan to deal with ddv? I guess only 1 mbas is not enough. Great video!!

If they do not ddv you before you gain treeborn access (it has to be a turn 1 ddv in 90% of games), then it circumstantially won't matter that much depending on the rest of your hand composition. For example, if you have a monarch and a brain/enemy controller, that will trade with at least two of their cards leaving you with a monarch on board or it will trade with 3 of their cards after they already spent at least two cards to ddv you early. This means you have removed 5 of their cards which means it's unlikely they have enough offensive pressure for you to not survive the ddv. It's still obviously not bad for them because they have perfect knowledge and they stop you from reusing monarchs, but ddv is a strong card. Sometimes you get obliterated if they ddv you when you don't have treeborn access or they draw ddv and a method to stop treeborn such as soul release, crow, kycoo, chain disappearance, fossil dyna or vanity's fiend, but these situations are very uncommon (early ddv + additional side hate) Finally, if you get ddv'd turn 1 and you don't already have treeborn in hand, you prob lost unless you draw treeborn, but very few decks that get hit by ddv don't instantly lose to turn 1 ddv. Other very strong decks like fairy and zombies will also instantly lose those games.

how do you feel about incorporating turbo rocket into this build? seems like it would have greater utility since its recyclable w/ junk synchron

It's definitely something you can play around with. Reviving a level 2 tuner is something we experimented with Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier - specifically because you can send that one to the GY with Swap Frog. Turbo rocket isn't searchable, but it does make a very good synchro monster, so you can try it for sure.

I'm a little confused how Scapegoat work sin this deck. It says you can't summon except for a normal summon, right? So when you tribute off Substitoad doesn't that stop you from bringing out your frog?

you set it and use it to stop their attack or in their end phase, and then summon sub on your next turn
