@@burkebrittain1073 but you need be a minimun close enough, hk tatsu works in biggest distance better, mainly bcas you cant follow mk tatsu into mp dp if you arent too close, so all 3 tatsus are important

Something funny about akuma's target combo is that its actually minus ON HIT enough so ken sa3 can punish it lmaooo

You can also link Fierce kick (not close) into Shun Goku Satsu, but the timing is pretty tight. Damage is real nice for two bars though

Hey guess what? You can cancel a light hadoken into a raging demon, which literally seals the opponents fate. This works with the fire hadoken, but then the hadoken reached first thereby wasting your Raging Demon

You can actually extend a combo after the red fireball using the distance gained from the demon which is pretty cool

seeing button inputs for these would be great. I can't seem to figure out the timing for mk - m tatsu - h tatsu. I can never get the h tatsu to go off at the end. When i try to input it early it just doesnt go off and when i do it late it misses.

the timing can be tricky but it is possible. just keep at it and you'll get it down. i dont main akuma and when making this video. i remember dropping that combo quite a bit before landing it properly, so your not alone there

In the video it seems like you are in the air before ryus hit stun even finishes. edit: I figured it out. literally just wasnt inputting it fast enough lol

​@waterywaffles you can combine the motion as well. Do forward, down + MK, down forward + LK in one smooth motion. Basically pressing medium kick halfway through the demon flip input. You can also do this to combo into dps

It took me a while to realize that you can cancel a DP into SA1 by essentially using the DP input as the first QCF. I am just posting this in case anyone else is struggling. The same concept allows you to throw out a normal fireball in front of SA1 by merely doing the QCF+P twice in a row. Once you do it the first time it really clicks. With this in mind, one way that I used to practice this was by doing a very simple combo: Jump in Hp > standing HP > HDP > SA1

Is there a reason you do H Dp (after the Mk>tatsu combo) as a finisher but L Dp when you add the super? I am new, so I'm just trying to learn, but I have been able to do H Dp for both combos since I assumed it'd do more damage.

i guess there is not really any reason not too. maybe it does slightly less using HP cause HP is multiple hits and i am assuming the first hit of the HP one does less Then the only one hit LP. im not 100% sure though.

@@chungboislim2061 Fightcade is a fan made online place for people to play classic fighting games from all around the world! not to even mention it has rollback netcode which means better connections. and 3rd strike is one of the most popular communitys on there! i dont know how to set it up. but its very easy on pc. on console however. theres not many good options. on ps3 there is 3rd strike online edition. but its communtiy is pretty small as well. if you dont have pc you can ad me on ps4 if you want and we can play 3s sometimes when i get psplus back

yes actually. the shoryuken motion wil count as part of your down forward motion. so basicall after you do shoryuken Lp continue doing you super move. and then it should work after some practice. im bad at explaining things so if it dont work let me know and ill try explaining it better or making a video showing what i mean.

though i do not play hugo your best bet to me is to try getting in and not letting akuma get out. with his low health and hugos high attack he will take alot of dmg. as for avoiding his combos with a tall slow character is another story. try practicing parrys. to punish a very agressive akuma

Close in on Akuma by slapping or dashswinging. Then perform the throws you know. Akuma is a weak character by health and stun, so he can literally be taken out by 3 throws and a super

Also, Hugo is mainly a defensive character, like rare attacks, great damage. So Hugo can really be only in a defensive position most of the time

Lots of pretty useless stuff, and key combos missed, awful. For some actual BNBs: Confirms to super -- 1. 2x [cr]LK xx SA1 2. [cr]LK, [cr]LK, [cr]LP xx SA1 3. [cl] MK xx super 4. UoH xx SA1 (has to be properly spaced on crouching opponent) Useful ones you missed -- [cr]MK / [cl]MK / [cr]MP / [cl]HP, LK tatsu, [cl]LP xx HK tatsu [cl]MK, MK tatsu, HP DP (only works on a handful of the cast and is hard to time) UoH, MK tatsu (has to be properly spaced on crouching opponent) We've had this game for 20+ years, the info HAS to be better than this.
