Lifetime’s all-new docuseries "The Jacksons: Next Generation" (#JacksonsNextGen) focuses on the third generation of the famed Jackson family -- Taj, Taryll and TJ -- Tito Jackson’s sons and nephews of the famed Jackson 5. Premiering Friday, October 2, at 10PM ET/PT, the series features the brothers as they work to balance a career and their lives as traditional family men while living up to the pressures and demands that comes with their last name.
The siblings, known as the music group 3T, have toured and sold more than three million records worldwide just off their debut album. Still impacted by the loss of their mother, Dee Dee, the brothers are raising their children and managing the day-to-day tasks within their families, just like everyone else. Their quest for normalcy, however, often collides head-on with the good and bad of living with one of history’s most renowned last names. The series reveals what it’s like for them living with the last name Jackson including how they deal with constant rumors, stalkers, and frauds who all want a piece of anything and anyone related to the family’s legacy.

Always loved the story of how Poppa T and Dee Dee got together and their love for each other. I remember watching "The Jackson's: American Dream so many, many times and just love the Tito and Dee Dee story. Always be my favourite Jackson couple. They were so adorable together. It's just a sad tragic shame what happened to Dee Dee she didn't deserve that. She still had her a long life to live. And I feel so bad for Tito & her being his 1st love. I also feel bad for 3T not having their mother no child/adult should have to grow up with out a mother or not have their mother in their lives. I'm still 💔😢🙏

No disrespect to Ms. DeeDee, but boy was i jealous of her in 1972. Tito was my favorite J5. He said one of the things that made him fall in love with DeeDee was that she could really do the Funky Chicken LOL. I was like, man I can do it better than her! Marry me. :) But I grew to be happy for them both. May her soul rest in peace and Tito continue to share his gift with the world.
