I liked how you analyzed Jake and Wesker so well, Leading to a believable end for the fight. While I would hope for the good guys to always win, I know when someone is outmatched or just in a serious disadvantage in a fight. Jake was the one on the losing end against his own father head to head. Especially if he loses his cool to Wesker's taunts about his mother which I can easily see happening, never mind his superhuman speed and regeneration.

Jake didn't get any powers from the C-Virus though, he was just gifted from birth and picked up really good martial art tricks in his time as a mercenary. Albert wins hands down, no discussion, in a 1 vs. 1 scenario he beats out just about everyone in the Resident Evil universe.

Gabriel Helms Jake has the powers of the C-Virus, but he harbored antibodies to avoid mutation. Otherwise, Ustanak would have killed him with the stomp, and he wouldn't have felt a damn thing when he was punched. He's basically the Resident Evil version of Deathstroke, minus the awesomeness, villainy, but with a right eye.

True wesker has huged ego but wesker was pretty smart on planning when to attack and when to get in his opponent head. If you noticed the battle between wesker vs chris. Wesker was usually in Chris head and chris would attack offensively and wesker was able to dodge most of chris attacks. And it true that wesker could've killed chris anytime he want but didn't because he was using chris in some of his plans. That Wesker just became your standard poetic waxing megalomaniac really bummed me out. They could've made him so much more epic, requiring all of the protagonists to take him down, working together to do it (he is stil 1 guy after all), but no. *Sigh* I don't know if it's just me, but the personality he has in the 5th game (let alone that he gained a good deal of extra height out of nowhere) doesn't jive with the previous 4 games. Yeah, he was the chessmaster, but he didn't hesitate to get shit done himself, as evident in Code Veronica. And even then, you could argue that the more people he had under his control, the less field work he'd be able to do, as he has to make sure all his men do their jobs and issue orders etc. But that's me. As for Jake...his personality and skills are fine, but why he exists is left too blank for me to like him...blegh.

I absolutely love the Vs. Breakdown videos you're doing, but Albert Wesker isn't "slightly better" but is far superior in comparison to Jake in practically all fields. What must be understood however is the syringe Wesker uses isn't to keep his powers, it's to keep the virus in his body under control. Over usage of it harms him physically, but only to minimum. He's still incredibly powerful and fast, but just isn't as much since Chris and Sheva were able to evade his superhuman assaults. Keep in mind, Chris and Sheva are seasoned BSAA members, Chris having the most experience dealing with Wesker, and Wesker still overpowered them on the jet, while weakened, until by chance he was outplayed. The C-Virus did increase Jake's abilities, but nothing in comparison to what Wesker gained from the prototype virus. Jake was not capable of performing any physical or mental feats in comparison. Unfortunately, Wesker's primary downfall was his megalomaniac ego. He often toyed with his opponents instead of just outright killing them, and never incorporated enough of his martial arts expertise into the use of his powers because he didn't feel he needed them. Also, Wesker does have a lot of field experience, he wasn't primarily a puppet master. Before the mansion incident, Wesker had to fight his way through numerous BOWs in the Umbrella training facility during the events of Resident Evil 0 to blow the facility up with William Birkin to contain its outbreak. During this, he was also forced to face a T-103 Tyrant in single combat. After the mansion incident, he was an agent for a new organization and worked side-by-side with their paramilitary HCF to collect bioweapon related things from Umbrella via raids. One of those raids being in Code:Veronica, Rockford Island. He also solo infiltrated an Umbrella base engulfed by an outbreak and killed Vladimir, an Umbrella executive, while he was infected with a perfected T-Virus strain.

Wesker stomps...hard. And Not Jake "Wesker," I mean, Albert Wesker. Jake is a purely a fucking unit, especially after his final showdown with Ustanak, and you can clearly see and believe he is Albert's kid, but compare feats. Jake, from what I know, possesses the same sort of antibodies in his blood as his father does, hence making him invulnerable to (from what is seen so far) any virus's effects; although you can argue he hasn't injected himself with every one, but injecting himself with a dose of the C, which is supposed to be uber powerful, does jack shit. His body just kills the virus on contact, while his father was also immune to most, but his O blood type allowed him to bond almost perfectly with the Progenitor sample Birkin gave him in 1998 at the time of the mansion incident, as seen giving him incredible abilities, far beyond, and i mean FAR beyond what Jake has shown. He beat Ustanak, but not without effort, while Albert would pick that bohemath up like a rag doll and chuck it into the molten magma. I don't wanna bore too many with detail, since most hate reading, but compare feats, and its pathetically simple to see who is, by far, superior. Now Pre-virus Wesker vs Jake would be far closer.

A very good assessment, especially since I thought you would miss the fact that Wesker may very well be able to say some debilitating things to Jake about himself or his mother. But I also feel there are two things that can be looked at a touch closer. After playing the main campaign of RE5 and then the mercenaries I found when one plays as Wesker he is a bit faster than in the campaign. The creators may have slowed him down so the player can actually react to it. Wesker also does have another instant kill move as well. Its called the Ghost Butterfly. What does it do? Well as the attacker thrusts both palms forward it shatters the opponent's rib cage causing massive internal damage if not outright stopping the heart like a more extreme Cobra Strike. I also think Wesker got cocky and arrogant (well even more so) against only Chris simply because they knew from multiple encounters on hot to really push each others buttons. And I cant help but wonder one last thing. What did Uroboros do to Wesker? I think that is may have enhanced or improved the virus he already carries but I can only speculate.

I would like to slightly correct you about weskers armament, according to the movie, he carries two 45 caliber deserteagles, according to the game, which follows the proper story line, he is armed with a samurai edge m92fs, and a standard m92fs. This can be seen when he seemingly removes a common pistol from his jacket during the cargo bay scene of resident evil 5. He fires at sheva and dodges Chris' rounds, but just before he pulls the gun on Chris, you can see he puts the pistol he was holding away, and as he appears before Chris, he is holding the samurai edge. I figured i would correct this, because weskers m9s, are also 9mm, the same as jokes 909. That is all I have to say

nice versus and it looks like I underestimated Jake. Now I just want to see him in another versus. With that out of the way, when you say that Wesker would take the defensive for the FIRST TIME, well i gotta disagree with the first time part. Wesker, from what I've seen (which is everything) Wesker is kinda of a deffensive fighter. Damn near every encounter we see wesker in, he waits for his opponents to make the first move and try to take the innitiative. Then he either counters or start dodging and moving around at blinding speed dissorienting and, sometimes, frustrating his opponents. And in hand to hand combat we constantly see him blocking and countering all of his opponents attacks. The only times he takes the initiative is when his opponents make him wait to long and only once have we see him take on an offensive posture which were in his fight agaisnt Chris and Sheva. Annndd sorry if I'm coming off as a jerk that's not my intention just sharing my own little theory. Still great video and is good to see you back.

i like your vids but the nemesis vs ustanak one was riddled with mistakes. Ustanak vs Nemesis would be a far closer fight than you explained. first of all, Nemesis is 8+ft tall, not 7'5 or whatever you stated. Carlos Oliveira is not a STARS member he is UBCS, and Nemesis has almost unlimited strength. He is strong enough to break through solid walls made of Brick or even metal. His tentacles could and would penetrate ustanaks skin, and could lift him. Nemesis is also very agile, he can run fast, he can dodge bullets and rockets, and his intelligence is almost twice ustanaks. Ustanak is mostly blind, needing little flying things to work as his eyes. Nemesis can be cut to pieces but still regenerate quite easily, losing some intelligence but gaining strength and abilities. Ustanaks weapons are more advanced than Nemesis and Ustanak is slightly bigger (wider, not much taller). Nemesis tentacles would have longer range than the claw of Ustanak and his rocket launcher would do serious damage to Ustanak since its basically a rapid fire launcher. Im not going to mention the minigun because nemesis didnt have a minigun in the original story, only in the movie. Nemesis also can use his intelligence at a higher level in his early stages. When hes damaged, he enters a beserking mode and gains strength and size. The only edge i see for ustanak is his minigun. Other than that, nemesis could dodge all of ustanaks melee attacks with ease and deliver counter attacks. All he would need to do is get some range between the two and fire off his launcher multiple times. Ustanak may have a edge in strength and jumping, Nemesis can charge, leap, and has more balanced attributes all around.

Don’t get me wrong everyone but I guarantee capcom will definitely bring Albert wesker back somehow besides he’s one of the best resident evil characters ever and we all miss him just as much as we miss Jake Muller because they should definitely bring him back too I mean it makes no sense we just meet him in his first game resident evil 6 and we haven’t seen him since makes no sense plus resident evil 7 and 8 we’re both so horrible so let’s hope 9 is better and we can’t wait to see Albert Wesker and Jake Muller together we’ll all be so happy a father and son moment

Any man who is willing to wipe out more than 90% of the worlds population just to stroke the size of his own ego is as evil as they come. Jake would be seen as a threat to him so Wesker would have no issue taking him out.
