🛠️3UP CONVERSION 🧰 How To Convert Seadoo Spark Trixx 3up to 2up | Seadoo Spark TRIXX | Ep3

Guys you all asked for it, when I put out EP1 in this Spark series, where I compared my new Spark to the Seadoo XP 717 X4, you all said, ‘Joe that’s not fair, it needs to be a 2up’. You all told me how the Seadoo Spark Trixx is way better as a 2up, so I’ve listened and updated our Spark to a 2up.
In this video you see me do the conversion and give a sneak preview of what’s to come in the next episode, ‘EP4’ where I put the newly converted 2up to the test at Tattershall lake.

I know right, its funny as so many people are not phased by skis here in the UK... I say to megs I wish more people were like ' dude is that a XP, dude is that a GSX' but most people are not bothered as their like a jetski/PWC are all the same... dont get me wrong some times I get people that stop and are really interested, I had one guy that raced back in the 90s at Lake Havasu and was telling me about Skat-Trak... he was blown away by how many clean skis I had... that was epic. Maybe it's just because they're lazy but seadoo has done a great job making all the spark parts interchangeable throughout the years. It's amazing you can buy a first year spark and put trixx parts on it.

100% you're right, Seadoo has done a fantastic job with parts compatibility across the Spark models. It’s pretty amazing that you can take parts from a later Trixx and fit them onto a first-year Spark. Its just a shame now with the new top deck design 2024 onwards the old parts wont fit anymore, so it will be 2014 to 2023 for the gen 1 compatibility and then from 2024 onwards a new part eco system.... The main thing we all want is a faster Spark in honesty but am loving the new 2up conversion I did. Thanks for watching ✌👌

This is very helpful I’m looking at doing this to my 3 up having owned a 2 up in the past. What’s the seadoo part number of the piece that sits above the ibr bucket? Cheers

Epic, glad it helped, dude 👌 The part is called an 'IBR Guard,' and the part number is '268000189.' Hope this helps, dude. As I said though, mate, the guard is a bit pathetic really, but if you’re like me and like things to be OEM, it makes sense, as it's about a $40 part. Thanks for watching, buddy.

Is the ibr guard really necessary. It looks likes barely held on and would be easier without

Not really, mate. You don't need to install the guard; I just did because I like things to be OEM, and if I resell, it would constitute as a full conversion. In the same way, you don't need to put the corner bumpers on. If you rewatch, I talk about how I opted not to drill the 2 new holes on the back of the ski to hold the guard in. I used the 2 on the underside near the top of the pump/bucket area and then used marine CT1 to bond the rear so I can remove it without being left with 2 new drilled holes if I choose to go back to the 3-up... In essence, though, you're completely right-no need to put the guard on. Thanks for watching, dude.

So i'm not sure if its a kit but more a collection of parts, as I referenced in the video I was sent these parts from www.thorpebaymarine.uk/ If you fire them an email they will sort you out. @@classicjetskis hey thank you so much, I just did the Riva stage 3 kit on mine made a huge difference now I want to eliminate the extra length definitely takes to much fun out, I don't know why they bother making this a 3 seater model honestly
