Greetings. The slope is visibly-3/5. Using Y=MX+C and referring to 5Y+3X=10, we have 5Y=-3X+10 and Y=-3/5X+2 from which it is deduced that M is -3/5.

Divide by 5 to put in standard form: y = (-3/5) x + 2. Slope is - 3/5. There -- saved you 12 1/2 minutes.
