Try ROWE

We are thinking of doing an oil analysis and comparison video of ROWE vs Liqui Moly in our B9 S4 with analysis from Blackstone Lab.

Just remove the "plug" and suck it out! Same with the 3.0T

Hell no those extractors leave behind too much oil jus drain from bottom
@DeutscheAutoGarage5 ай бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5i4npiars-LaK8 DAP did a video on this. They didn't find anything if I recall correctly. I find that I still need to remove the magnetic plug from the pan to clean and inspect, even when using an extractor, so we’ll need to get under there regardless. Recently, we picked up a B9 S4, and we’ll be getting an extractor to try both methods in a future video. Stay tuned and thank you for your comment!

@@DeutscheAutoGarage what are saying? 1 why do you have a magnetic plug, 2 if you knew you have to inspect it and you will only do the drain way. why mention wanting to extract it but it having a plug, which is exactly were audi extracts it from. BTW extracting when you have the means to drain is just stupid straight out. and has absolutely no benefits
@DeutscheAutoGarage23 күн бұрын
@canoaslan1011 You remove the drain bolt after you extract for inspection. You already have to get under the car for the oil filter anyway on the 4.0T whereas the 3.0T the oil filter is right up top. We make videos for everyone and not everyone has an extractor and compressor at home.

@@DeutscheAutoGarage Thanks for thr reply. but thats exatcly my point, if your going to remove plug for inspection, why extract in the 1st place. We extract at dealerships, so we dont have to hoist the car. its a cost and time thing, its the actual reason why new filters are at the top now, not because its a better way of filtration. and there is a very good reason why there are no factory magnetic drain plugs. stay away from it

You should lisson to the Motor oil geek on KZbin about additives
@DeutscheAutoGarage6 ай бұрын
We'll give it a watch, thank you.
@CDLZEL5 ай бұрын
Yea too many additives isn’t good, liqui moly has a perfect blend of additives for that oil viscosity already! Adding more throws the chemical mixtures balance off

@rah40boy Thank you for the heads up. Our oil samples are tested by the Black Stone Lab each change and have come back with excellent results each time. We will be a vendor car at the Liqui Moly booth @ the Deutsche Classic in PA this weekend if you want to stop in and talk oil. Thank you for the comment!
