9:58 Little clarification: There are _some_ constraints for the name of a variable: - It can only contain Uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores. - It cannot start with a number. But still, _pretty much_ anything that your heart imagines.

Global Variable = you can use the variable at any point in the Programm. Local Variable = you can use the variable only in the "code block" ( it get lost after you leave the code block ). maybe you can add this to your video. Because its really important to know.

So in something like P5 do u not need to to declare the type of variable it is because I notice that when u are coding in P5 you just declare the variable by typing “var “

@FluidFishy5 жыл бұрын
How are you doing this without starting with: Include using namespace std; Int main() { } ????
@SimonTiger5 жыл бұрын
#1. This is not Arduino or C, this is Processing or Java. #2. Processing makes it easy to start programming, and so inserts the "required" code for you.
@FluidFishy5 жыл бұрын
Simon Tiger I feel stupid for asking that question now that I’m looking at that 2 weeks later. I’ve learned a lot more.
i need help in processing which is similar to java script, can someone type me a code for when mouse pressed the button up the temperature increases and when button down pressed the temperature decrease.. similar thing for key pressed "u" to increase the temp and D to decrease the temp..

Please someone help, I'm pulling my hair here while I'm pretty sure I'm missing something obvious and simple. When I type float x; x = 5/6; println(x); it says x = 0 which is BS but when I type float x; float a = 5; float b = 6; x = a/b; println(x); it suddenly gives the correct result. Also when I type float x; x = 5.1/6; println(x); then it also works just fine. What the hell? :( * Otherwise, I love these videos. I got all the way to functions and managed to write the fractal tree program in Processing which is when I noticed this odd thing :/
@TheCodingTrain7 жыл бұрын
This is a quick of Java. If you say 5.0/6, you'll also getting a floating point result. If you use integers only then Java will only give an integer back and so it's *zero* (remainder 5)
@AndrewB_NNA7 жыл бұрын
