All of the coding channels I watched weekly in 2020 dropped their video output by 90% the following few years, so it seems. Not any individual creators fault, but each side project they had seemed to take a larger priority in more recent years.

I also stopped by "Eli the Computer guy", he completely hates me wishes he could get rid of me forever. But, he did have a very amazing intro to raspberry pi video. he really unlocks more pi for sure. he does have interesting stuff tho.

"This is going to be brief, maybe an hour" looks at video length lol
@NoPodcastsHere4 сағат бұрын
I mean he said 'maybe an hour' which means ~3h so he actually did it in only half the time!
@jffrysith43653 сағат бұрын
@NoPodcastsHere I maybe take that to mean to around an hour and a quarter. Mind you I ain't complaining. I like these videos lol.

This both brings back a LOT of memories (as I first learned BasicGW in DOS) and made me cringe because of the massive use of GOTO and GOSUB. Still, I had fun watching this video.

I get why it's not a "challenge" in the traditional sense, but it's a name with history and I love the alliteration. Besides, if you go down the "coding journey" route, you have to be careful since "coding adventures" is already taken :P

Easier and harder. Because computers were simpler, so you needed to know far less to program. On the other hand, the tool sets we take for granted like good editors, and libraries that did a lot of common things didn't exist. I suspect that's why there's retro programming hobbiests. It's possible to understand everything the computer is doing without a lot of knowledge by comparison today. Generally, I prefer programming now, but there's some charm to the old ways.

For your snowflake implementation, you could randomize the number of iterations to create a varying size particle, use noise flow field (only positive Y downscreen) for velocity vector, and have the snow settle on a hand-drawn shape (or coding train imagemap)

I have another question this might not make sense but when it comes to climate change, what is the back up for learning I mean, if we can’t learn through textbook and we’re not learn well to learn in the computer what else is left mean school is so expensive how are you supposed to complete a college degree or get a certification or whatever I don’t understand you know.

Is it true that you can get certified in the programs like C++ and all that other stuff using Khan Academy app or do you have to go to an actual school to get certified?

So my dad is helping me learn coding on Khan Academy and as far as assignments go and lessons on Khan Academy seriously variables is one of the hardest chapters to understand in math for me seriously, it is so hard like growing up in high school learned a little bit about variables, but not a whole lot and it was hard to understand it still is I never took trigonometry geometry, algebra in high school or any of the harder masks in high school because I’m not a nerd like my two sisters are because I have a learning disability and I have epilepsy which is really horrible. I’m not a science geek either.
