Just putting it out there, another example of this adaptability feature Vishaps have is when we see Pahsiv in the 4.2 update. She's indistinguishable from a normal melusine except for her eyes which looks like a vishap's so she could be a melusine vishap. Also her name spelt backward is Vishap so yeah.

Honestly I thought the evolution of vishaps is why pure-blooded khaenrians were so different from others when it came to surviving the curse. I'm pretty sure only the Bathysmal/Hydro Vishaps have that level of adaptability. Iirc the bits of Apep we met can directly shapeshift over a period of time. Their kids were also true fungi, albeit a little smarter than normal. The Geovishaps we've seen haven't presented an ability to evolve; though Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishaps use other elements, they seem to be containing rather than evolving. It's likely the other types of Vishaps will have their own unique qualities as well

That's why it's called a separate realm, similar to the "sea of quanta" in honkai impact. It's a gateway to the other worlds that connects everything, INCLUDING multiple timelines, if they exist. Also a lot of people mistake abyss for being under teyvat, it's mostly referred to as being "deep" not because it's underground but rather it's the deepest part of the universe itself. Just a speculation on my part but the spiral abyss is most likely a sort of miniature version of the actual abyss, probably created by either Kanrea'h or perhaps someone from the Hexenzirkle. Also no, since vishaps are seen as inferior to dragons, skirk most definitely isn't a vishap. She also can't use any elemental powers so she's not a dragon either.

@@Bubs_dayo I also like the abyss theory, and your theory is actually very good, I don't often watch theory's that relate to HI3 though because it gets too complicated for my brain so I don't understand as much, also if the multiple timelines things is also true, hoyo would have killed many characters by now. My main confusion is skirk, because she clearly possess some kind of abyss element yet seems to be directly connected to the primordial waters which is something pure that was used to make life which is the complete opposite of the abyss. Her hands look like arlecchinos hands but primordial water version, and she was able to turn the whale into miniature (Pokémon hunting) just like that. She also appears to send the narwhal and childe to the abyss again. She also has fin like features which leans more into vishaps because they usually stay in the water hence the fins. She really give off descender vibes and Surtalogi too but it isn't possible. She's still hot tho so no worries

I’m just guessing here but this sort of element could only be native to people who are related to the abyss since these are the only 2 people who can use it. As for what this “power from beyond” is, honestly I haven’t got a clue. The only thing I can link it to would be quantum from Honkai. Or rather “Void-Quantum” to be exact, it has special properties which can stop time and make cracks through space. Which we see a lot of abyss monsters do, it’s not just skirk but also higher ranking abyss monsters which can creat portals. Such as Golden Worflord and Heralds/Lectors. Another word for void quanta is Finality, which just makes things a LOT more interesting. Hoyoverse introduced the concept of “Finality” about couple years ago in Honkai impact, it has already made its way to Honkai star rail so I’m assuming they’ll hint it in Genshin as well. It’s probably just me but Skirks design really resembled the Finality. Even her thigh highs had some very intriguing galaxy patterns.

I really do hope they will make some playable characters from Natlan having dragon horns and tails! (And I hope both guys and girls will have them...not only girls... *looks at Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae from HSR that doesn't have tail with disappointed* Hoyo don't be cowards and give us dragon boys with tails too! lol) But it's really interesting how we didn't see NPCs or even get that much info about Natlan till this Archon quest, the dragons do coexist with humans so there should still be some NPC humans but why they don't visit other Nations? I'm really curious what's going on in Natlan! We probably get some small infos in another update/s but I hope we'll get something more than just Liben telling some stuff about what's going in Natlan >.

Hear me out - with the way the things are going, I am playing with the idea that by the time Shnezhnaya comes, we will join Tsaritsa (and ultimately our twin) in her stand against the Heavenly Principles. Apart from Venti, every Archon gave up the Gnosis, Neuvilette even specifically said that he agrees with their (Harbingers) ideas and agreed to give up his gnosis "for the higher good".

Likely some of the characters will have dragon eyes and features in natlan, being evolved humanoid dragon? As for the natlan combat theme, it may well be some sort of rage mechanic. Either the more you hit or get hit the higher various stats grow. It calms down the longer you spend without dealing damage or taking damage. Thats my guess anyway. To distinguish it from fontaine maybe it's just getting hit (even on a shield) not necessarily taking damage.

Human-vishaps existing in Natlan, which is a narion of war, seems like both a curse and a blessing. Blessing in the form of having extreme adaptability in a land torn by war, and curse that they are probably fighting endlessly throughout all these years of co-existence.

What I took from Neuvilette was that dragons coexist with human in like theres dragons (more like animals) and humans living together in a symbiotic way. To me is kinda of a hint to natlan gimmick, something like people from natlan wont acknowlege you because you dont have a dragon partner, similar to Avatar. And Natlan gimmick will be dragon races. But thats just my headcanon

What I am gonna say is just a funny thought instead of a proper theory. So from what we know Bennet is probably from Natlan, maybe Bennet is also a Vishap or part Vishap, and hes under a curse which is his badluck making his life incredibly difficult with alot of challenges so his descendants will evolve to combat all the hardships hes faced

If Natlan is a Nation of dragons i guess that mean most "vision/playable" characters might be Dragons-humans? That would mean some of or most of them won't be using a Vision to use their powers i guess. If a Dragon-human is a elemental being, they don't need visions to use an element, so i guess none of them should be using a vision. If that's the case, why is there an Archon in the first place if Dragons dislike Archons... Or maybe the current archon will die and someone else will take Murata's place as the Pyro Sov?

vishap in 4.2 area pretty much neutral unless you attack them. maybe pyro sov there like neuvillete to control them.They can be co-ruler tho
