**Pretty well executed cane with some unique features, and some small problems**
TL/DR:
Pros:
o Great alert siren
o Useful red and white lights
o Radio feature
o Rechargeable
o Nice start
Cons:
o Proprietary USB power
o Not enough for tall users, greater than 6'0"
o Not low enough for short users, less than 5'4"
o No option for quad head
o Swivel on flashlight head probably too hard to use
o No way to tell how close you are to a full charge
This adjustable cane has some interesting features. Like a lot of canes, it has a built-in flashlight, but it doesn't require batteries - it charges with a USB cable that unfortunately uses a proprietary connector.
In addition to the flashlight, it has a blinking red light that can provide some additional safety at night, plus a nice loud siren that can be used when help is needed - very nice feature.
Topping all this off it has a built-in FM radio, of all things. Finding a station can be a bit of a chore because you have no dial to reference, so you just have to scan until you reach a familiar station. My recommendation is to find the station you like and leave it there. The radio is loud enough that you can probably listen to it on a walk pretty well as long as you aren't by a busy road.
I would have really like to see an extra inch or two of length added in each direction. At 6'2" I need at least 37" for a properly sized cane, maybe even 38. This cane is going to be appropriate for people roughly 5'4" to 6'0". That covers the majority of users, but you are near to or outside of those ranges, be sure to try fitting this cane and return it if it doesn't work for you.
Why do I give this four stars instead of five? First, the proprietary charging cable is a bad idea. A USB-C charging system would be the right way to go. Second, the height range is just not wide enough, there are many, many people in the US market who will need a slightly taller or shorter cane. Finally, the swivel flashlight is okay, but I think it is going to be a little awkward to use for people with arthritis of other frailty issues.
A feature I would have liked to see would include a charge indicator so I'll know when it needs to be recharged. I fear that many users will just keep charging this thing up daily, which is going to wear out the battery more quickly. We know from many years of experience that the best battery management is to not charge until below 20% capacity.
Finally, a quad cane tip option would be really nice. The additional stability this provides is actually probably what the majority of elderly cane users need. Plus the cane will stand up on its own this way.
