Although the season ended early, we still got to film quite a bit, though not nearly as much park as we would have liked. Filmed at Big White in BC, Canada, on the Osmo Pocket: amzn.to/3j9CUnf

Nice! What have been your favourite boards you've used this past season man? Really missing it, being a Victorian living in Melb I completely missed out on the season this year
@SnowboardRobot4 жыл бұрын
My favourite would definitely have to be the Salomon Dancehaul, it is the most fun board I have had in a while. Second would be the new Ultimate Ride, then probably the Nitro Woodcarver after that. I know all about that, I was lucky enough to get the exemption to leave Victoria to get back to Canada.

@@SnowboardRobot Yeah nice, thanks man. I might have to get an Ultimate Ride - I've wanted one for years. Would love to try out the Dancehaul and see how it compares to the Superpig as well! Yeah glad you managed to get the exemption to get over to Canada, season in Australia really seemed to fizzle out anyway unfortunately

Do you find the osmo pocket to still be a good camera for filming?
@SnowboardRobot3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I still really like it, the quality is great and it doesn't have that "gopro/action cam" look that I was trying to avoid. It isn't as easy to use as a gopro though, so it does need a bit of practice to make sure that everything is in shot. I had the magnetic wide angle lens that helped quite a bit, without adding any major distortion.

@@SnowboardRobot I watched your review of the insta360 also. Do you rate gopros at all?
@SnowboardRobot3 жыл бұрын
@@chooseboost yeah I do, the stabilisation they have now is great, and they don't take too much work to make the footage look really nice. They probably are the easiest to use, with a bit less of a learning curve.
@SnowboardRobot3 жыл бұрын
@@chooseboost Yeah they are really good, especially the last couple of models, they can stabilize footage almost like a gimbal now. It would be a bit easier to use if you just want to point and shoot, though you can get some really good/different results if you want to play around with certain modes/add an ND filter to slow the shutter down. It would depend on what sort of stuff you want to film - might make choosing a camera a bit easier.

@@SnowboardRobot I would like to film my adventures which consists of 4wding, camping and snowboarding mainly. I currently have a couple of older GoPros which do ok for 4wd.
