4.8L LS - terminator X - running after a little tuning

After a little tuning this engine sounds great.

I took this stand apart and no longer have a terminator x to show a video on, but all of the red wires with white tracers go to switch on 12v, red goes to constant power, black to ground, grey to brake switch, and there is a red with white tracer from the DBW that goes to the brake switch also.

If we get a 4.8 in our shop we take the crank and rods/pistons out and toss them in the scrap pile.

If I had a spare rotating assembly from a 5.3 I could see doing that. But a 4.8 is a good engine also.

@@Greymancustomz I guess it is okay if you can't dig a crank and some gen 4 floating rods up. We won't use anything other than gen 4 rods unless it is a stroker motor.

@@Greymancustomz we do. Don't do any gen 5 motors unless specifically for a customer. I build the motors at our shop so I stay pretty busy.

I only plan to do gen 3 and 4. I am building one gen 5 L83 for someone right now.

MSD plug wires. I really like them but the factory boot shields don’t fit on them
