Are the samples royalty free from the first Website, because it is a public library for example the Boston library you have mentioned? Or do you have to clear the samples for publishing/selling beats?

I think it would be on a case-by-case basis, but a lot of these are copyrighted, so in principle you will have to clear it. If you aren't a big name producer I wouldn't worry about it too much though. We discussed this on one of my live streams a couple of weeks ago. Also, with more obscure samples it would be even less likely to get in trouble.

​@@Mr2electric Yeah, I understand. I don't really sell beats, so I'm not sure how that would work. I think people do sell sample-based beats though. It should be up to the artist to clear it. It makes no sense for you to clear every beat you haven't even sold yet.

Sure, just drag and drop it onto a Sound in the Maschine software.

@@RookieRay True, but that's only for MP3's, the Chrome extension saves it as .wav.

@@RookieRay No, Ableton packs only work in Ableton. "The Heat" pack has Maschine instruments as well though, so it will work on both + wav files which will work anywhere. The "Chords & Melodic Loops" pack will also work anywhere, as it's just wav files too.
