There is a trick for #1. When your hood comes under attack, get into some kind of mission vehicle (cab, police, ambulance ect) and then start and cancel the mission. It will stop the attack in your hood and you keep the turf.

I noticed that too I think it happens because game counts you in a mission and cancels the gang attack

Whenever Gang Territories & Gang Wars have begun in GTA SAN ANDREAS after completing “Homecoming” missions .. I started using Police Car / Ambulance instead of Random Cars while roaming .. So that whenever my hood is under attack, I just start police activity or Ambulance activity to keep my Territories safe .. 🤭

One of the gf (can't remember the name), if you start dating her, you could keep weapons when you get arrested. Others are like, one gf gives you a free respray garage to repair vehicles for free. Other gives you free weapons in her shed. Etc.

There's a really cool glitch. You can do and unlock gang Territories over the entire map and red and blue gangs show app, but it will just be one of the normal ones when you go into that territory. In order. To do this, you have to get a plane and fly to a certain spot and continuously fly out over the ocean. Andtil it reverses you and then you gotta go back to land only after you unlock the gangs, but the longer you fly, the more Territories it unlocks.

The hood being under attack is annoying when you are in Las Venturas. It's not too bad if you are in Los Santos, because you can get there quite promptly if you know the map. But expecting you to get from Las Venturas to Los Santos in like a minute to defend it is just absolutely ridiculous. Even with a jetpack it ain't realistic.

Hack: if you ever encountered your hood is under attack. Just go to a nearby house and make a savefile there. Load the latest savefile and boom your hood still yours

You don't always need to defend your neighborhood. If Groove Streets looses, the area will not be purple in the first attack. It will be pure green to light green. Its still under your controll

Good way to permanently solve #1: Take over all territories. The only con is that you lose the ability to find Vagos & Balla gang cars. I felt so heartbroken when it was nearly impossible to find the Tornado ever again, because the Vagos stopped spawning.

for number 2, there's a glitch, activate JCNRUAD before sitting in the car, and deactivate it after sitting, your car becomes immortal to bullets, missiles(rockets) and bombs, and also it won't catch fire when upside down But remember, if you put it in your garage or some mod garage, it will reset Also if the car is standing somewhere in fire, it will catch fire even when immortal.

I totally hate multiplayer games where theres that one kid who wants to get the most wasted and runs in front of you to block your way and your man raises the gun leaving you to get shot. Fact: if your 'hood is under attack, you can enter to a cop car and start a vigilante mission, that will stop the attack

If your cars upside down you can flip it by holding the reserve button to accelerate and move the analog stick side to side and you should be able to flip it back (just make sure you try it before it’s on fire)

My top "Most annoying" experience in GTA SA is: When you save sweet from the ambush right before he gets locked up... why???? Bc I purchased A TON of ammo before that mission and you automatically lose it all after the mission is complete!!! I didn't kno that and lost a ton of money even tho I didn't die and completed the mission as intended.... Had to load back, about a 25 min set back.
