Jump rope and you'll see improvements. Agility ladders help as well. You can also use cones. Do the box drill as well.

move smoothly, dont put explosiveness into your movement, like your gliding, or your a balloons bouncing on the ground. You will be a tad bit slower but you will be able too keep it up the whole round wich is more important then being a little faster.

Consistency is the key, if you don’t use it, you lose it. Footwork is very difficult to work on and master is something even the pros never do but if I could recommend anything to anyone new to the sport, repetition is key with punches but footwork and fundamentals is the difference in boxing.

beautiful these are the drills I used to do for rhythm and distance I recommend studying Evander Holyfield , he is the master this drill also helps build the internal clock only thing I'm not seeing is stance switching

@@keysessoms Good , I also recommend studying Bernard Hopkins because he is amazing at strategy He can puppet his opponent and draw in the punch he wants him to throw and counters really well my 3 favorite boxers are Holyfield , Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr Tyson is overrated and Holyfield is a better

@@keysessoms yea x) it’s just our coach would make us do drills for hours on it and like mix em up too with knees up and down fast and slow backwards forwards with a ball and without it + different steps 🫠

get light on your feet by drilling footwork, jumping rope, jogging and building up flexibility and elasticity in your ankles and bounce in your step (it takes time and ALOT of repetition).

Honestly, most of my footwork comes from dancing. Also I am really small so that may help with my quickness I guess.

Hi mate. I'm just wondering what you think about moving both feet simultaneously on the jab versus stepping in with you lead foot and bringing your back foot forward whilst your jab comes back to your chin

are those ankle weights on you? And do you recommend ankle weights at all if I’m a beginner? Just started to learn boxing so Im watching a crap load of footwork videos

You use your less dominant hand to throw jabs and your dominant hand for heavier if that makes sense. Ur non dominant hand should set up your dominant hands attack. If that makes sense

Is it correct that u don't lift your heel when throwing intermediate punches? The heel is lifted only for the last punch?

You can actually do both. It really depends on how much you are trying to put into each shot.
