Abraham Lincoln said " it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt." This is something that Amber and her legal team haven't learned.

that is a misquote, although i believe they are paraphrasing Voltaire, i also might be wrong. The most convincing substantial reference credits it to " Mrs. Goose, Her Book" by Maurice Switzer. The quote was never attached to Lincoln until after his death.

@@rynwildfire4444 You actually gave a shit when new-to-you perspective or information led you in a different direction. 🙂 You're humaning correctly, IMO. Lol. I believed the initial allegations in 2018, with reservations. I chose not to blindly support or demonize either party, but I am happy that the evidence and testimony made me feel validated in my gut feeling that the situation didn't make sense. JD has been acting for more than 30 years, and has been in relationships off-and-on throughout his life, without incident. Even after the allegations from AH, nobody else came forward. That's at least a yellow flag on her allegations. Most abusers don't just start abusing out of nowhere - it's gradual and calculated so you're not too spooked to stay long enough to be used until you have nothing left.

Amber is someone who fakes intelligence. In that she reads a lot, but instead of absorbing the information, she just absorbs the lines to then regurgitate in conversations. A lot of people do this, and it will fool people in the short run, but eventually people pick up on it. It's why when she talks she sounds like she is reading from a bad script. Her mind is just combing these lines and phrases she has read together, even if they don't connect well or make sense to what she has been asked. Not only does Amber have a lot of anger inside of her, she also has a lot of fear. She is so scared of people looking down at her, or laughing at her that she has built this cold, arrogant, condescending attitude to deflect. It's also the reason that when you give her a list of words describing her, say 3 positive and 1 negative, she will zone in on the negative every time. Her fear, and anger, drive her to prove that negative wrong.

What appeal?? If her legal team has any self awareness, they would've seen that a huge part of what makes her so unlikeable to people is her pretension and conceit, she thinks she's better/smarter than everyone and that she's beyond reproach. Accepting accountability, admitting mistakes and flaws, showing weaknesses, these are things that would've humanized her in a big way and made her more relatable. THAT would've given her appeal, not repeating more of the same!
@jenniferhamels1176
@jenniferhamels1176 2 жыл бұрын
@@lblincoe2094 Good job missing the entire point. You're misunderstanding what "appeal" means in this context. In this context appeal means to challenge the verdict. You're using a completely different definition of appeal. The point was, if she took accountability, she 100% loses her chance to appeal, because there would be no point to appeal if she agreed she was in the wrong this entire time. The point of an appeal is to show she believes she isn't in the wrong.

The fact that she's not in jail shows that the system is made for women only. If the roles were reversed Johnny Depp would have been in prison. This female admitted on her own audio claims of hitting Johnny Depp not punching him. Let's be for real guys he would have been in jail if that was him on audio saying that thing mess this is ridiculous. As a female I am disgusted and I'm worried about my son if he meets a female that's an Amber Heard. Warner Brothers and Disney fired Johnny they did not investigate nor wait to find out if he was an innocent man. Amber Heard did not get fired. What does this say for men? No he wouldn't have been. This audio tapes did not become anyone's knowledge other than Johnny, Amber's and their therapist (If these made it to the therapist.) until AFTER the statute of limitations was up. Johnny had to press charges in order for her to have been arrested, which he never did. Do your research....there are a TON of women who have their abuser arrested, then drop the charges, so he goes free. OR call cops for help, but once cops arrive, the victim does not cooperate......just the same as Amber did........ There are a lot, a lot, a lot of male abusers who go free. Why? Because the female victim does no press charges or doesn't tell someone who matters in the case. This has nothing to do with gender regarding whether she should be put in jail now based on the tapes. No matter if it had been Johnny or Amber that was the abuser, the statue of limitations is UP. And it was UP when the tapes became avail to the public. That, imho was Johnny's choice, not the law!

there are many examples of men getting away with abuse or domestic violence. quite alot. to the point where there are cases of men abusing multiple women and still never going to jail. so i would not say this is a system made for women. especially in cases where more women get murdered even after reporting domestic violence or stalking to the police multiple times. this was a case of defamation and not a case of domestic abuse though they went back and forth on who was an abuser and who was a victim to justify whether Johnny can sue Amber. they both never went to the police. so she wouldnt go to jail for defamation and that is why she was hit with a giant fine and lawsuit. understanding what the case is and what the laws are is crucial to understanding what the punishment is supposed to be. so please think twice before saying someone should be in jail. if this was a criminal case about him abuser her or her abusing him then that is something completely different. that isnt what this specific case is even about.

Christina brings a cool perspective to the panel because she is both an actress and a director, so she can see reactions in AH that come from the years of acting , something Christina herself does and trained for and from the director's eyes watching an actor perform. I watched her before talking about AH and she said a few things about her in court, she said that trying to have tears while cry acting and in a fraction of a second being combative and cold is a sign of a bad actor, because a good actor will " get into the situation" and it takes a few seconds to snap out of that emotion, also the way she stopped talking when there was an objection and waiting for the judge decision and immediately go back to what she was saying, the exact same tone and phrase or word is a sign of a novice actor or a bad actor, because most good actors when the director says cut and then action on the same scene ,will go back to the scrip but will change the tone slightly or even rephrase it, because they are never happy and try to do it better. Very cool.

The scary part about the recordings where she is litterly seeming like the most evil person ever. Those recordings are her knowing she is being recorded and most of them came from her recording and Johnny not knowing that she was. The worst part is that I can't imagine how bad she is when she is not being recorded and it shows that she is just a bad person. I dont know why people are trying to find something that is not there. She tried to ruin a mans life and use the stories of people that survived hardships to her advantage, while at the sametime being the abuser to Johnny. Actions speak louder than words and both of those are the worst in Amber heard's case. She not only feels no remorse but also keeps doubling down and trying to gaslight people into feeling about making memes of her on the internet. The nerve on this person is beyond comprehension and the sad part is that society taking it easy on her is the reason she keeps feeling emboldened.

I'm glad you're reacting to this. It's absolutely astounding how disingenuous Amber Heard comes off. I literally believe you could pull a random person off the street and ask them to pretend that they were married to Johnny Depp and just improvise an interview - and they would come across as more sincere than her. It's like she's an alien trying to imitate a person. I don't understand how she was ever able to be an actress, when she can't even have a normal conversation and seem authentic. Edit: This was really a great reaction to this very insightful panel. It's too bad this Heard melodrama is (probably) fading away now, as these have been some pretty interesting reactions.

I know you wrote this comment a month ago, yet I'm still intrigued and disgusted with AH. You mentioned how she might be an alien trying to act human, lol. Since the trial and especially after seeing more about her come out, I think she is Lucifer disguised as AH. Who would be the perfect super star to shack up with and put through hell? Mr. Depp. He is too kind, trusting, giving, etc. Maybe a little naive with pretty women. And look how big this trial was, the perfect stage for Luci to play cat and mouse with a star. JD's team were basically at God's angels at war with Luci and team (dumb demons), lol.

I wish they had reacted to when Christina talked about being in the UK trial. AH talked about just wanted to move on, but when she testified in UK she asked for and got permission to sit in the courtroom for the remainder of the trial, so she kept listening to testimonies and as new evidence would come in she then kept changing her story. This is why her story changed that the abuse started in 2012 and then 2011. She kept changing her story to fill in the gaps that new evidence being brought in would show.

We are to take notes for billing purposes and within those notes are short general notes mainly to prove we provided services. Everything personal is left out for HIPPA reasons. Actually, Amber DID say "I did horrible things, I said horrible things in these audios" during trial AND this interview. But that's a very general statement. When called out for SPECIFIC incidents, Amber has an answer for everything. During the trial, she refused to admit that she was the one who started an argument or fight, much like when Savannah asks, "Did you ever start a physical fight?" and Amber says, "I never had to," once again shifting all the blame onto Johnny. She takes "accountability" the same way that someone says, "I know I did horrible things, BUT...I'm not at fault."

I think that during the megapanel livestream, it was brought up that Amber Heard tends not to answer questions coherently or even quickly and someone had brought up the idea that (I'm paraphrasing here) she has two Cornerstone ideology where they compete with each other: significance and pity. These two ideologies don't go together so when she get asked a question she has a hard time being able to answer it because the answer that she wants to give will be in conflict with one of those two. An example is when she was asked how she felt when the verdict was about to be announce. She couldn't say that she was feeling nervous because then she wouldn't feel like she was significant (looks weak) at the same time she couldn't say she was confident because then she couldn't get people to pity her

I love Rob's passion when he talks about Amber's lies & BS statements. He is mirroring my own frustrations with her and this case. I've been following this case closely for a few years. The UK case was a joke and not fair. The judge made his personal decision, then accepted the evidence that supported that decision. He had many contradicting opinions and didn't treat the evidence or testimony equally. There were so many things wrong with the case and Johnny did not get a fair trial. I would say the same thing if it wasn't about Johnny. Amber's lap dogs try to paint any one that believes Johnny as crazy fanatics with blind allegiance, but that's not the case. The UK judge had a very clear extreme bias or his own personal agenda. He should've been excused for conflict of interest too. No one should ever use the UK judgement as factual evidence to claim Johnny was guilty of DV. That is the farthest thing from the truth. If you're skeptical, please go watch the channel "Black Belt Barrister". He's a UK lawyer that is trying to get Johnny an appeal and discusses the problems with the judgement.

She is not mentioning one very important point. They also sat there for two weeks and listened to HER paint Johnny in the worst possible light so why didn't that same theory apply? Why didn't they think the worst of Johnny? It would be very painful to Amber to accept but the thing I listened to that made me think she was lying was HER testimony, not the testimony of anyone else. I was comparing what she said happened to tapes of what actually happened or to what just five minutes ago, SHE said happened. Sorry, Amber. Dunning-Kruger effect was probably the term you were looking for at the end of the video. But I thought Chase's comment that you cut out of the video was one of the most interesting about why her body language is so unnatural -- the combination of superiority / arrogance along with a desire for pity / to play the victim that almost never comes together in people and that particularly when those two things come out in the same expression with body language or in speech they're so antithetical that it gives the rest of us a visceral response since the two expressions really should be mutually exclusive but aren't in Amber.

The Body Language Guy, Jesus', is really great, so many are awesome, truly! But yes, these 4 are really great to watch. Amber had to be edited because she definitely did not act like a non- vindictive woman!! They had to coach her before the interview, then edit before the actual viewing. Dateline got really bad ratings for the interview, which makes me rather happy. I hope she gets the message to just go away, and get her and her sister therapy to learn how to be well- behaved people. But they seem mentally ill, there's not a whole lot anyone can do until they admit they need help. Which may be never, unfortunately for Johnny and us all. She'll never do that. Getting help means that she's owning up to her behaviour and wants to change it - something narcissists won't do, because to them owning up means they can no longer use their manipulative tactics to get what they want, since getting help means that they have to see things from another perspective than theirs. Narcissists will never change because they believe that they are the most important people around, and their opinions are the only ones that matter

The main problem with her testimony and this interview - anyone can say anything. It doesn’t mean it’s truth - it’s ‘he said she said’. You need to back this up. And to the ‘me too movement’ you do need for both parties to report it accurately - otherwise you will not be believed. Physical abuse should be written down - seeing that and noted! You cannot say that you have talked to a therapist and claim it is a written notes for her personal statement - because that is not evidence ... you can say anything in this moment. If this is real - you must (for any VD victims) pleeease if you are in danger - speak to a doctor and show the damage. You don’t give a large to a knife to someone that you are scared of. Guys/gals if you are genuinely being abused - I know it’s extremely hard - please seek help immediately 🥰💕

To suggest victims do not talk back or do a set of set behaviours like we are all the same and act like robots, is absurd and very dmging. I know your message was positive but please consider what you are implying and do not feed Amber supporters any ammunitation to make everyone else seem irrationel.

I disagree with the yell and throw things , DV survivors can yell not at their abuser but because they are so done with the bs , and they can throw things out in frustration and desperation and again not at their abuser or anyone just like throw them somewhere where there’s no one there .As for anything else I agree with the rest

Many other victims/survivors have experienced very similar abuse, as I did, and have identified with what I wrote. You have the right to your opinion, however, I did clarify that *this is my opinion - from my experience.* I'm just so grateful that Johnny (the other victims/survivors) and I survived. 🙏🏻

"i wasn't the best version of me" its different to "my behavior was unrecognizable to myself", in the first case you admit there are part of your behavior you dont like, while in second case you dont want to admit that behavior it's part of your self

Thank y’all for trimming down the live feed. It was very long and super chats distracting. I love all the folks on the panel. Rob Law & Lumber, Spidey The Behavioral Arts and Chase Hughes The Behavior Panel are great. Didn’t know Christina before this feed but got such a kick out of her reactions and input had to subscribe to her channel as well. Glad you didn’t watch the dateline episode. I don’t want to give her the impression that I want to hear anything she has to say without the humor and education provided by these guys and other KZbinrs. Also check out the Blackbelt Barrister. He has great videos about the UK JD v Sun. Going through all these guys will give more solid information on Aspects of trials and interviews that folks will get out of highly edited mainstream media. Just saying.

I'll be honest. From the moment I first saw Amber Heard in Pineapple Express, she rubbed me the wrong way. She seemed self-important, like a character from Mean Girls. Like she'd grown up in country clubs and thought she was better than everyone else. I'm sure a lot of guys would just think she's hot, but something about her bothered me, even more this trial. Then I find out about this and it kind of made sense. Something about her body language and the way she carried herself.

This video is awesome! Your videos are great, informative and entertaining. I enjoyed it immensely. Both your comments/reactions and those of the experts. I am totally in agreement with Rob and I feel what he feels. It was fun to learn about all of these things from the experts and happy to know it wasn't just my love for Johnny and being a fan of his that made me believe him and not trust or believe that lying Ms. Heard for one single moment. I did not watch the Dateline special, refused to and I would never pay for or read a book if she ever releases one.

About "I did horrible things, I don't recognize myself etc etc" she is actually saying "It 's all Johnny's fault, he made me behave in that terrible manner". That's what she has claimed throughout the whole trial. And that's why no one believes her, beside the gut feeling that even the most numb person perceive.

55:40 I definitely felt like she was doing damage control there bc her PR team prolly told her to address that aspect of herself- the one not taking responsibility. So I feel like she is trying to do that but she doesn’t really believe it so she tries to distance herself from the admission of accountability. I genuinely think AH thinks she did nothing wrong.

Not sure if it was discussed but did anyone notice that the question of "What is the ONE piece of evidence" reference questions I am sure came from Amber's team. Because they kept saying they had lots of evidence but in reality there was not much so the question was worded to them giving that one piece of evidence they truly had...

- At 54:30 when you talk about her answer, what the panel described, that is exactly my first natural reaction. I was first surprised that she took some accountability, then I started to laugh how she immediately took it back! I was amazed on how much she wiggled out of the responsibility she JUST took. - 1:05:00 The Today Show has soooo much more than Dateline, they have cut her answers in what imo is extreme, and specially when they have cut her mid answer in so many places. And that is just the parts we can see as we can compare them. All in favour of Amber. I don't understand how this cuts isn't making headline news, because of how much they changed. Dateline have been going after everyone who has shown the entire interview, no matter how much fair use they do, with copywrites strike. - These weeks (since she first took the stand to now) we have been able to predict what she will do next time we see her. She adapts her behavior and demeanour and even tone of voice, to how Spidey and others have commented and criticised her. It could be seen just as directer notes, as she directly change her demeanour to the latest points. It had almost been comical to how "direct" how it has been.

Wait!!! When they spoke about the texts to the "MD" about the concussion\broken nose after the Dec incident and she said she did go to see them after that exchange, I immediately thought about what she said on the stand. Didn't Amber say she didn't seek medical treatment after that incident even though she "thought" she had a broken nose, that she didn't see anyone about it til the next year when she went to see the ENT and she only said that after Johnny's team pointed out that she had no medical records for any Dr visits that she claimed she did. Also, like they said, if she did go to see the dr right after the text exchange in Dec then why didn't they have any medical records from that visit, why no report from that Dr since observations are recorded as well?!

There is one important part from the original video missing in this reaction. Its where Christina explains Amber's actions during the UK trial...about her presence in the court and why she wrote 7 different statements. That provides such a lot of context to the whole UK trial.

When you say "that isn't me" or "I don't recognize that person" when talking in reference to your own actions, you aren't taking accountability for your those actions but instead are separating yourself from them. In essence, you acknowledge it without actually taking ownership of your own actions. It's the same reason why people are still mad at Shane Dawson; he refuses to acknowledge that he is the person that said/did the things that offended people. He still can't or won't accept it and continues to use phrases when speaking about being canceled that separate himself from his past actions. I hope this makes the point Spidey and Rob were trying to make clearer.
