One observation that I haven’t seen yet - every question Savannah asks that calls for a substantive response is met with a question or random observation “that’s a really good question” - there’s so much in that technique: (1) it acts as a pause to let her prepare her answer; (2) it acts as a dramatic pause that opens the door for an emotional delivery; and most importantly (3) it refocused the attention/control to AH to reframe the question/narrative. Done once or twice, it can be extremely effective, but done at this level of frequency…well…you tell me?!?!

That is to say, not that she lacks sympathy or understanding for others, but that’s probably true, too, but what I am saying is that the more Amber Heard speaks, the less she is relatable, believable, and sympathetic. She exudes fakeness, snobbery, entitlement, jealousy of others, she seems to believe she’s smarter, more clever, more entitled, and better than anyone else. Out of all the things she's said that had given her away, and there's been plenty of that going on, the most telling was when she said "they (victims of domestic abuse) don't have the resources that you and I have". She doesn't identify with a victim because she's not a victim, she's just trying to play one. She must feel a whole lot of contempt for Johnny who could even convince the world that he has scissors for fingers. As stupid as that makes all of us she still couldn't convince us that is the victim. It must really, really sting.

Amber seems to forget - I think the majority of people believed HER over the last 6 years - *DESPITE* being "Captain Jack Sparrow fans", *DESPITE* Johnny Depp being a beloved actor. Nobody wanted to think that someone would lie about being abused. I'm sure a lot of people had questions about the situation, but ultimately - most of the public leaned toward her. It was not until she was put on the stand, where her version of events was on full display, and we were all able to see her "mountain of evidence", and make a fully informed analysis of the accusations that the tide turned drastically against her. She wanted everyone to take her word for it, and be the idiots she clearly sees most of the public to be - but it wasn't until we had all of the information that us peasants were able to determine for ourselves - not because of influence or persuasion - that it was all a load of crap.

I do not agree that Amber has undermined women victims of DV. Just the lying ones who used to get away with it because the expectation was to believe ALL women. The phrase should have been listen to all women, because in the past the police and the courts did not. It does not matter if a woman wears provocative clothing or some how "asks for it", or a mans home is his castle, it does not excuse men treating women badly. But people can and do judge men and women acting that way. There is no excuse for violence. The ME2 movement has to readjust its message or become obsolete.

I was watching their video about Diane Downs yesterday and she just reminded me of her so much. When AH introduced her daughter to the world via Instagram, alarm bells rang. If you haven’t already, read what she’s written. Something along the lines of her deciding she wanted to have a child and wanted to do it on her terms. That’s basically why she did it the way she did, so she gets to control the whole situation. I honestly hope someone is keeping a close eye on that child, especially with the uncontrollable rage Amber has. Reminded me of when Diane Downs said that she missed how much love her children gave her and how easy they are to conceive and wanted more because basically she missed everything they gave her. Not a word about loving them.

When you train as a pilot, there are 7 behaviours to consider when stuff goes wrong on a flight. One of these is loss of situational awareness. The engine is failing, the gas tank is emptying, the engine is sputtering. When you ignore the signs, you’re going down. This woman, by doing this interview, has not an inkling she’s lost. The trial. Public support. Everything. But she’s going to ignore it all hoping she can keep the plane in the air with a wish and a prayer. Or in her case, more lies. As if more lies will convince everyone she was truthful, is truthful. Loss of situational awareness. She’s get more respect if you just went away, shut her mouth and try to quietly rebuild her career. And just stop talking about it. She’s not the Metoo movement.
