People say a lot of women wear Coco mademoiselle, but its still my top choice for warm autumn and spring and office. I dress in 60s girl style. Lots of cashmere sweaters, lots of tartan, lots of hair barettes, short monocolor nails, coats, furs etc. And there are only two perfumes to compliment the style. Coco mademoiselle and Shalimar Guerlain. So when someone points out that i wear mainstream perfume i reply that i dont mind that a lot of people wear mademoiselle because i wear it the best 🐊. Ladies, dont ever get discouraged about the perfume popularity, just do you and have fun, that's what fragrance is all about.

Coco Noir has been my signature since 2013. I wear it day or night and usually about twice a week. The performance isn’t always the best (it lasts a solid 6 hours on clothes) but I don’t mind reapply midday because I love experiencing the scent all over again and going through the top, middle, and base notes. The body cream for Coco Noir is heavenly as well and layers really well with the perfume.

Mademoiselle Intense definitely goes on strong but warms up SO wonderfully on me. and I usually hate patchouli. I just put it on (just 1-2 sprays) at least an hour before I leave so that it can warm up and it’s still noticeable by the end of the day

OMG! I ssooo love Coco Noir. I tried it once on my wrist when I went to a perfume store, and it smells so good and I could still smell it the next day even if I already took a bath. I just purchased Chanel Chance EDP and Chanel Gabrielle Essence. I can see why people say the EDP is probably more all year around perfume. In my opinion, it has similar opening to Chanel Mademoiselle. I personally prefer the Gabrielle Essence. 😊

Chanel Gabrielle was definitely my "gateway" perfume for Chanel fragrances. For years, a lot of the Chanels smelled way too intense and unappealing to me. But one day I picked up Gabrielle in the store and it was EYE-OPENING. I ordered a few tiny sample bottles to wear for awhile to see if I was just imagining it... but I loved it. I've worn Gabrielle all through quarantine and for Christmas I got 'Mademoiselle.' Next I'm trying to decide which of the Chance line I want to get first, because they're all INCREDIBLE to me.

Just came across your channel. I just purchased my first Chanel perfume-Coco Mademoiselle L’eau Privée. I love it so much. I was trying to decide between that one and Eau De Parfum Intense. The Intense scent was a bit too strong for me and there was something else that just drew me to the L’eau Privée, but honestly both scents are amazing. Also the bottles are stunning! Every time I walk by the perfumes in a store the Chanel bottle design just catches my eye. So iconic. You have a beautiful collection.

For many years (20 or more) i wanted to give a chance to chanel pefumes. Since i tasted chanel #5 for the first time at store.. that was a hit (but in my case sorry to say this... a hit that produces on me a turn on my stomac similar to sensation of vomit). I really wanted to love Chanel but I can't find a fragrance that justifies the price. I don't like to put perfumes in age categories because you should wear whatever you want but their perfumes do smell too mature for me (I'm on my early 20's). However, I do love and have wore other perfumes that are also that style but for some reason Chanel does not give me that home confort vibe like if I was hugging my mom or my grandma. I like them but in my opinion, nowadays you have better options in the market that mix perfectly the classy with the modern world. But our taste is always changing, I will probably fall in love with Chanel perfumes at some point in my life! :)

It's very hard to choose a favorite Chanel but I have to go with Bois des Iles closely followed by Cristalle EDP. Eau Premiere is lovely as are Beige and Coromandel. If you haven't tried Cristalle, you may find it a nice alternative for warmer months. It's such an elegant citrus scent. Gabrielle didn't work for me. I found it to be a little mundane. Great video!

Unless there is a Chanel boutique in your area, the Exclusifs are hard to find. I regularly post on the Now Smell This thread with my Scent of the Day and whatever else we want to blab about. The people there are a kind and generous group who share and swap perfume. I have tested several in the Chanel and Chanel Exclusif line due to their generosity. The blog owner, Robin, hosts several swaps and freebies on this blog a few times each year. Only regular members can participate. It's a great way to sample widely without breaking the bank.

I have the same feeling about Coco Noir. It's one of the least performing Chanel fragrances on my skin. I find it so weak I wouldn't even consider it a nighttime fragrance, lol. My favorites are Coco Mademoiselle Intense, Coco and Chance (the last two I actually prefer in the EDT concentration).

How does it work for People who smell us knowing that they will sometimes see us just once ... PS : I just bought COCO Mademoiselle but it is not the féminine fresh fragrance that I would like. Yes I have - to be honest the eau tendre is my least favorite of the Chance line - it's a bit too sweet light flirty for me - I'm more into the citrus, patchouli, woody vibes which is why I think I prefer the original so much more. Don't get me wrong Tendre is phenomenal :)

Love this video!🙂 I'm debating purchasing Gabrielle Essence. Is it a good summer scent? The sales associate told me it's more for winter. I had a sample and it seemed on the fresh floral lighter side. Haven't really worn it enough to tell. Am also considering Chance Eau Vive. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I definitely consider Gabrielle Essence to be a great summer scent for sure; personally I would not wear it in the winter, but where I live, summers are hot and winters are extremely cold. In the winter I prefer my warm cozy vanilla type perfumes. This is a fresh light hearted floral scent for sure. I also love the eau Vive - I used to have it and let it go in favor of the eau fraiche but I am regretting letting it go.

@@thesimplechiclife Thank you! I think I'll get Gabrielle Essence. I'm in Canada and, like you, prefer the warm cozy fragrances in winter. I got Chance edt recently and it's beautiful! Hooked on Chanel as of late!❤

You should spray them on your clothes. Perfumes last longer on clothes than skin. I normally don’t put perfumes on my skin 🤷🏽‍♀️

Never bought Channel, what do you suggest? So like sweet, and flowery depending if not to much flower, don't mind but of musk, prefer sweet scents, cocoa masel good, have tried it in the shops, sorry bad speller. I'm lookin at buying hair perfume frm cosmetics now, in cocoa masel
