People say a lot of women wear Coco mademoiselle, but its still my top choice for warm autumn and spring and office. I dress in 60s girl style. Lots of cashmere sweaters, lots of tartan, lots of hair barettes, short monocolor nails, coats, furs etc. And there are only two perfumes to compliment the style. Coco mademoiselle and Shalimar Guerlain. So when someone points out that i wear mainstream perfume i reply that i dont mind that a lot of people wear mademoiselle because i wear it the best 🐊. Ladies, dont ever get discouraged about the perfume popularity, just do you and have fun, that's what fragrance is all about.

The coco Mademoiselle edp intense ist the only perfume in my collection my son (10 y) would give me compliments on. And he NEVER complements on ANYof my fragrances. So this one really MUST be a stunner!🤩

Coco Noir has been my signature since 2013. I wear it day or night and usually about twice a week. The performance isn’t always the best (it lasts a solid 6 hours on clothes) but I don’t mind reapply midday because I love experiencing the scent all over again and going through the top, middle, and base notes. The body cream for Coco Noir is heavenly as well and layers really well with the perfume.

OMG! I ssooo love Coco Noir. I tried it once on my wrist when I went to a perfume store, and it smells so good and I could still smell it the next day even if I already took a bath. I’m planning to buy one on Christmas. I already have the Coco Madamoiselle Parfume(not the intense one) and I get compliment everytime I put it on.❤️

Mademoiselle Intense definitely goes on strong but warms up SO wonderfully on me. and I usually hate patchouli. I just put it on (just 1-2 sprays) at least an hour before I leave so that it can warm up and it’s still noticeable by the end of the day

I just purchased Chanel Chance EDP and Chanel Gabrielle Essence. I can see why people say the EDP is probably more all year around perfume. In my opinion, it has similar opening to Chanel Mademoiselle. I personally prefer the Gabrielle Essence. 😊

Just came across your channel. I just purchased my first Chanel perfume-Coco Mademoiselle L’eau Privée. I love it so much. I was trying to decide between that one and Eau De Parfum Intense. The Intense scent was a bit too strong for me and there was something else that just drew me to the L’eau Privée, but honestly both scents are amazing. Also the bottles are stunning! Every time I walk by the perfumes in a store the Chanel bottle design just catches my eye. So iconic. You have a beautiful collection.

Gabrielle is on my wishlist. I ended up getting Gabrielle Essence instead, I love it. I need to experiment more with the house still, the only others that I have are 5 & 19, but they were more for the historicalness of them and not the fragrances themselves.

The CM Intense is definitely my favourite Fragrance of all. Super sexy, warm, but not too heavy. Has much better performance than original CM.

Chanel Gabrielle was definitely my "gateway" perfume for Chanel fragrances. For years, a lot of the Chanels smelled way too intense and unappealing to me. But one day I picked up Gabrielle in the store and it was EYE-OPENING. I ordered a few tiny sample bottles to wear for awhile to see if I was just imagining it... but I loved it. I've worn Gabrielle all through quarantine and for Christmas I got 'Mademoiselle.' Next I'm trying to decide which of the Chance line I want to get first, because they're all INCREDIBLE to me.

Chance has become my favorite Chanel, even the edp works well in the Georgia humid, hot summer. I could smell myself, but it wasn't cloying. I may have to eventually get a travel size or another decant.

It's very hard to choose a favorite Chanel but I have to go with Bois des Iles closely followed by Cristalle EDP. Eau Premiere is lovely as are Beige and Coromandel. If you haven't tried Cristalle, you may find it a nice alternative for warmer months. It's such an elegant citrus scent. Gabrielle didn't work for me. I found it to be a little mundane. Great video!

Unless there is a Chanel boutique in your area, the Exclusifs are hard to find. I regularly post on the Now Smell This thread with my Scent of the Day and whatever else we want to blab about. The people there are a kind and generous group who share and swap perfume. I have tested several in the Chanel and Chanel Exclusif line due to their generosity. The blog owner, Robin, hosts several swaps and freebies on this blog a few times each year. Only regular members can participate. It's a great way to sample widely without breaking the bank.

For many years (20 or more) i wanted to give a chance to chanel pefumes. Since i tasted chanel #5 for the first time at store.. that was a hit (but in my case sorry to say this... a hit that produces on me a turn on my stomac similar to sensation of vomit). I really wanted to love Chanel but I can't find a fragrance that justifies the price. I don't like to put perfumes in age categories because you should wear whatever you want but their perfumes do smell too mature for me (I'm on my early 20's). However, I do love and have wore other perfumes that are also that style but for some reason Chanel does not give me that home confort vibe like if I was hugging my mom or my grandma. I like them but in my opinion, nowadays you have better options in the market that mix perfectly the classy with the modern world. But our taste is always changing, I will probably fall in love with Chanel perfumes at some point in my life! :)

I have the same feeling about Coco Noir. It's one of the least performing Chanel fragrances on my skin. I find it so weak I wouldn't even consider it a nighttime fragrance, lol. My favorites are Coco Mademoiselle Intense, Coco and Chance (the last two I actually prefer in the EDT concentration).

Hard to choose I love coco, allure edp and the sensuelle, n. 5 and to my surprise mademoiselle intense although I'm not a fan of citrusy scents it's just beautiful the dry down is addictive and the lasting power is incredible

I’m not a collector either though, so I’ve whittled it down, and the only ones I own now and probably always will are: Les Exclusifs Rue Cambon Les Exclusifs Coromandel Coco Noir Eau Premiere (original tall bottle, not the reformulation)

Thank you great review, I am enamoured with all Chanel fragrances my favourite is Chanel mademoiselle followed by Chanel #5 L’eau . I very much like 1957 and I also like Chance but I prefer “Au Tender” as for “Gabrielle”I love the fragrance I prefer this as my winter fragrance and find it too warm for summer. I am in my mid 50’s😊 I very much enjoyed you clarifying the longevity of each scent that is so important and many people reviewing fragrance leave that information out. I myself feel as you do..... A fragrance needs to have Longevity with such a large price tag such as Chanel’s “1957” the longevity is week. I enjoyed your content👍 Have your tried any of the Chanel Exclusives.?

Chanel is just not my style at all. It's too...perfect?? Everything smells like it should be worn by a woman in pointy toe heels and a pencil skirt. Idk if i'm the only one that feels this way. Everything smells way too elegant. Lol

Giiiirl. Coco Mademoiselle is like that for me. Its SO ‘perfect’ that its almost boring. I thought I was alone on this!! 😂 like I can never remember what it smells like until I smell it again, and its like, “oh yeah, just..perfectly pretty...but not unique and doesnt stand out in any memorable way”. Reminds me of runway models who all look exactly alike with cookie cutter curveless figures but perfectly pretty but nothing remarkable 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

That's so true. I got Coco Mademoiselle and Chanel chance as my birthday gift. They smell pretty great but they don't stand out in the crowd. I'm the type of girl who likes being remembered by my scent so they are not for me. Whenever i wear them, I get many compliments but they are all like "you smell so good. I've smelled this scent for many times and I still like it". So I don't like them that much

Question ❓️ When people say, I didn't like this perfume at the beginning but after trying it several time... I finally loved it. How does it work for People who smell us knowing that they will sometimes see us just once ... PS : I just bought COCO Mademoiselle but it is not the féminine fresh fragrance that I would like. It is spycey... kind of good smelling but I do not loooove to smell it. I ll just use it because I spent money 😪😭 but... I liked Mon guerlain SO MUCH but, it is not long lasting at all and too intimate for me... ANY RECOMMENDATION of this kind of perfume ? with almost the same smell? thanks 😊

Yes I have - to be honest the eau tendre is my least favorite of the Chance line - it's a bit too sweet light flirty for me - I'm more into the citrus, patchouli, woody vibes which is why I think I prefer the original so much more. Don't get me wrong Tendre is phenomenal :)

I love most Chanel perfumes. Beige and Paris-Riviera are my current favourites for day, and Coco Mselle Intense for evening. Cristalle EDP has been a big love for years, so classic. I love Coco Noir but its lasting power on me is terrible. So I will not get it.

Get some non scented lotion and enjoyed anyway it's not a waste just keep reapplying it get a roller ball or a small sprayer
