I am a former radio station owner/broadcaster now retired. I watched your video last night and tonight, went to Ebay and bought the mixer you have for $38.00! It beats paying $79.95 for a little Behringer XENYX 302USB Mixer that does way less! I took your word for what you said in the video and bought the little Muslady Mixer. It will be here Dec. 17. All I'm doing is just using the USB Port on the Desktop PC, going to the back of the Behringer Mixer to get music over the speaker. I'm just streaming audio on line. I won't be using the mixer for recording. As far as a microphone, I use a Electro Voice RE20 Broadcast Microphone. I have to crank up the Behringer Mixer gain to get audio from the microphone into the mixer. It's like a simple Internet Radio Station I'm doing for fun because I'm disabled. I have a 100 mw AM Transmitter that needs audio out from the mixer. I think the RCA Audio Jacks might provide that. My Behringer Mixer also gets it's power from the Desktop PC. Looks like the mixer is going to do what little I need. I have Computer Speakers that put out 80 watts, so that's not a problem. What do you and others think?

We have Religion on Saturday Night at 10:30 pm until Sunday Morning at 11:30 am, Central Time, so you don't want to listen then. The rest of the time it's a Contemporary Rock 🎸 /Mainstream Rock Format, with harder Night Time Rock cuts from 8 pm to 1 am Central Time. I'm in Rural Tennessee outside Nashville. I am anxious for you to hear it and report back to my Consultant Engineer, Jim "Turbo" Turvaville. He owns two full power FM Stations in the Panhandle of Texas. Absolutely preamps would work but cost around 40 dollars each or more so price wise … your still around $80-100 dollars with the mixer. If microphones sound is most important .. I would pick up a better mixer. Check out the Rockville rock mix 6 it’s $109 or the rock mix 5 is 60 dollars (rock mix 5 only has one mic spot) but has other mic options. Rockville has most everything this reviewed mixer has except the thumb drive reader and they work well. I have reviewed other Rockville products including the rock mix 5. Just links to check & compare… #CommissionsEarned Amazon Rockmix5 - one mic / with Bluetooth amzn.to/3JRk3KS Rockmix5 two mics - no Bluetooth amzn.to/3uP28jX Rockmix6 two mics / with Bluetooth amzn.to/36iRxEf Mackie analog mixers are under 90 bucks but at that price won’t have all the bells & whistles of Bluetooth, USB ports , or be audio interfaces. They Will just be audio mixers but will work well. Sorry for all the info. Just trying to be helpful . Thanks again.

Channel 3 and 4 are stereo left and right, and are shared by the Stereo RCAs, USB, and Blue Tooth. Figuring out the the back pushbutton took a minute, you might talk more about them if you revise or do another video. On this mixer 3&4 are separate inputs but a common output, that is pretty common, especially at the lover price points. Are you using dynamic or condenser mice, and if they are condenser mics are they self or phantom powered? I have the same low volume issues with dynamic mics, but my Shure and Altec-Lansing condenser mics work fine. I did have an issue with the phantom power and using the balanced output from my wireless mics, I ended up putting the wireless mic on the input five and six (I have the six channel version) RCAs from the combined output of the receiver, so the condenser mics could have phantom power. Oddly, my self powered shotgun mic didn't have any problems, I'm still trying to figure that one out. Anyway, thanks for this, it's a fair review and matches my experiences.

Hello... Well done... Very informative...! I'm doing a V-log on my android phone and have 2 1960s mics to input for stereo voicing... 1 is a dynamic (ribbon) XLR and one might be a condenser lavalier with 1/4" jack. Is the phantom switch controlling all inputs? And do you think this would do well for voice recording my V-log to my phone? Thanks so much...

Hi. I got my Mustlady Mixer in late December. I'm just now getting around to working with it. I'm wanted to use it for streaming audio only. I'm confused. I got it to power up from my desktop computer, but does this mean that I must feed the audio from the Dell's Desktop PC Soundcard straight to the RCA jacks on like Line Channel 3? I didn't power the mixer using the little black power supply. I know there is a switch to switch between powering the mixer and .mp3 playback from the desktop computer. Without asking my Consultant Engineer, Jim Turvaville in Wheeler, Texas first, I thought I would ask you because Jim is so busy. He just lost his brother. Jim owns and operates two Full Power, "Class A" FM Stations in Texas that are Automated using Behringer 802 mixers, then if he has to air a live show, there is a Radio Systems Console to switch one of the stations for that task. I wanted you to understand what were doing. I am streaming in Tennessee. The instructions were a bit confusing on this. I won't be using a mic on this mixer, so I'm not worried about that. Behringer has gone up on their mixer prices. We were just trying to find a cheaper alternative that would give good audio streaming and on Terrestrial AM/FM Radio. Thanks, Scott😄

I wish I understood about mixers to USB because none of them tell me the sample rate in their specs unlike audio interfaces or USB mics. What in the world is the sample rate of these things from it to the computer?
@generalawareness1014 жыл бұрын
@@DjMartiniMidwest It can't be a simple pass through since XLR is an analog source and the mixer has an ADC in it. For instance the audio interfaces are all 24bit/192khz now save one that is old and at 96khz. You can generally tell what they are in Windows (I don't do Apple so I don't know for it) via going into the audio devices and getting into the properties page of the microphone and clicking advanced. Right there it will tell you or it may allow you to change. My old old USB headset mic is 2 channel 44.1 or 48khz 24bit and this microphone from Neewer (returned it is defective) only is 24bit/192khz.
@generalawareness1014 жыл бұрын
@@DjMartiniMidwest Thank you for the testing as you 100% confirmed my suspicions of it being 48khz but what does amaze me is that it is only 16 bit. OUCH!

I just want to say if you are reviewing something please read words correctly and use the correct terminologie. The first blunder was with console where you pronounced counsel and then you showed a 5 watt power brick, now the 5 watt power brick isn't technically incorrect but it's actually advertised as 5 volts not watts. And how you get watts is by volts x amps= watts.
