Dear Karan, Your videos are fabulous and helps novice people like us. I am an armature singer and would like to get a feel of good music recording. Currently I have amplifier with mixer ,dynamic mics and active speakers at home. The amplifier is connected to my speakers of home theatre and is separate from active speakers.( 2 separate systems - Amplifier with Home theatre and Active speakers ) I would like to know how do you use a condenser mic with either line mixer or audio interface ( I am not sure what is more appropriate) to my home theatre or dynamic speakers so that 1. Dear Karan, you have explained the entire procedure very nicely. After watching this video, I bought a similar mixer and am able to record voice on sound recorder of my laptop. But I want to record on Audacity using karaoke tracks. Audacity detects the mixer and I can also record my plane voice. But problem arises when I try to record voice using karaoke track. Then it gives messages,"Error opening recording device. Error code 9997 Invalid sample rate." Can you please suggest a solution? I shall be grateful. Thanks and regards.

But something I don't understand is you mention ambient sound will go into the recording if you connect speaker to Mixer and to avoid this you suggested using a Headphone. How does ambient sound goes into the recording when music and mic input to Mixer is thru cable and output from Mixer to PC (for recording) is also thru cable?
