Glad to hear you're finally getting some rain! My worst-weather concert... it had been raining in New Orleans for 3 weeks straight and let up the day before Simon and Garfunkel played at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. It was 95 degrees F (35 Celsius,) 95% humidity, and the fairgrounds were covered in mud that was a foot deep in some places. I was COVERED in mud during that concert, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Download or Downpour Festival 2016! for 3 days at Donington it rained like it was the Western Front in WW1. People's tents were completely flooded and submerged. The ground was thick wet slippy brown and black mud. The bands played on and played well. On the 1st night I think Rammstein's audio had been effected by the rain, it was a bit crackly and it didn't get sorted. Black Sabbath the next night were great. By the 3rd day I was pretty fed up and deflated but I perked up enough for Halestorm, Disturbed, Nightwish and Maiden. The rain did stop finally when Nightwish and Maiden got on and the Sun made a short and welcomed appearance as it dipped under the English hills.

I've seen Ghost for the first time 2 months ago in germany, and holy shit it was awesome! Such an incredible liveshow, it was funny and they sound as great as I thought they would.

Few years ago I went to rock on the river 7 I think it was, we ending up having the concert at the Maverick instead of the Landing because of a hurricane coming through. In the Maverick we can hear the rain pouring and the wind screaming, but the concert went on anyway,it was absolutely amazing

I was wondering if you saw Ghost when they were in Australia! We just bought tickets to see them in the US in October. Super excited! The wettest concert we ever went to was Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson a few years back. The weather was fine during Cooper, but at the start of Manson's set we got slammed with a severe thunderstorm and this is the Midwest - tornado alley. Manson had to tell everyone to go home as the venue started to flood and we were all evacuated.

I'm so envious that you saw Ghost. Can't wait to see them and Metallica this summer. I feel you on the short girl problems! They'll be playing a huge venue here in Ireland called Slane so we'll be nowhere near as close as you were! But they'll be playing support so we'll have to travel to see them play their own full gig some day. But speaking of the toughest gigs I've been to: it has to be Guns n Roses and then the Foo Fighters all at that same venue. It rained so heavily both times that the giant hill down to the stage just turned into a mud slide. It was freezing cold and we were covered in mud, walking for miles to get to the buses...but both gigs were worth every second!

I saw Ghost in Belgium two months ago and they were so amazing, I still get shivers thinking about it. It's too bad you saw them in such a tiny venue though, they reaally really put on a huuuge show on bigger stages and the backdrops are gorgeous and the pyrotech is breathtaking. I don't joke when I say it was a religious experience. And I had you with me in spirit because I knew you love them like I do. I highly suggest you to go see them again when you get the chance

I've seen Ghost once at Download festival and it definitely was so much fun, one of the best concerts I've been to! And I'm dying to see Zeal&Ardor, their music is so unique.

Holy shit I'm dying to see Ghost! I absolutely love them! I've seen Slayer and yes they do put on a really good show. Ok one year my boyfriend , my son and myself went to the beach for a week in July. On the last day of my vacation we went to Ozzfest. It was soo fucking hot that day! We already got a bit of a sunburn during the beach trip , we basically fried at Ozzfest. We ended up getting sun poisoning and feeling like crap but despite that it was an awesome day! We saw alot of amazing bands that day. I am a natural ginger girl so I got lobster red pretty quick! Lol

My most crazy festival/concert. : FullForceFestival(hardcore/metal music, germany) 2012. A huge thunderstorm was rolling into the festival Saturday night. One huge mass of pitch black clouds, after days of total heat and laser sunshine, tons of rain in minutes. "heaven shall burn" on the stage playing while sound goes on and off and the rain poured down on us. Bands had to stop eventually, they tried to continue to the last minute they were allowed by safety observers, and all the people had to go to the tent area to seek shelter. Tents flying around, breaking down. Several people struck with lightning or flying things that day because they helped a shop owner holding his shop together and the lightning got into that structure. It was so very crazy, but only a handfull severe injury despite that chaotic weather. But all people just kept going. Clothes were shared and space for people who lost all they brought. Clothes were dried on every car available when the sun came out. The festival organizers made sure the sound equipment worked safely and all kept on going with the program very fast with only a few storm wind breaks. Ok, last concerts on sunday were cancelled. (here a german article, sorry didnt find an english one: www.spiegel.de/panorama/blitz-verletzt-51-menschen-auf-with-full-force-festival-a-842074.html ) Its not like today when everything is a huge problem to the visitors. Was in every newspaper in germany the week after that. But we germans are used to get drowned in rain and mudd at our festivals.... or get grilled by the sun at the same festival :P

I saw Ghost this winter, and Zeal and Ardor last week. Both are SO GOOD live! I'm sad that Z&A were just a short opening set for another band's show, because I would have loved a longer set from them. I also saw Cradle last fall in Toronto and they always put on an awesome show. For non-metal, NSP and TWRP have been great when I saw them too

The wettest show I've ever been to was Knot Fest it rained all morning oh it was in Summerset Wisconsin USA it rained threw all the little bands like local bands and then it cleared up for the main bands like cannibal corps,lamb of god,and of course Slip Knot them are just a few but after the rain stopped the temperature went up to 90°f so it was hot and humid but a awesome day

Wettest concert.. Def Leppard summer of 2011. It was a downpour. I brought my poncho, so I was dry. Anyone on the lawn with me was absolutely drenched to their underwear. The band and more expensive seats were under a giant pavilion. Those who were not seated around the very edges remained dry.

I saw ghost live a few years ago..I think it was 2013 at novarock, but the funny thing is I didn't know them back then xD but I am so glad I watched their show, because I was blown away by their music and their performance was also very cool! I'm a fan since then =)

I've seen Zeal & Ardor a couple of months ago and boy did they catch me off guard. A friend of mine wanted to see them, but nobody wanted to go with him, so he asked me and I agreed to go. Best decision in a while! I personally think that their live perfomance is even more intense than the albums. If you ever thought that the gospel choir could use more double bass, it does work indeed! I also love how the band uses the typical metaphors and inverts them. ("a good lord is a dark one")

When NIN finally took the stage there was a ominous wall cloud in the sky. So gloomy and very apropo considering the tone of the music.

I've seen Behemoth twice (crowd surfed for the first time the second time I saw them) and craziest weather was when I finally got to see Marylin Manson live on August 1st last year it was an indoor venue but it felt like a hurricane outside fubared my hair And everyone got soaked to the bone

Went to see KISS a few years back and for the entire concert it stormed, poured down rain, lightening and thunder. It was a good concert but by far my favorites have been OZZY and METALLICA.

i know im imperious here but i still struggle a bit with your taste of music since i strongly believe there has to be a "natural" bridge between the words and the sound, but it is intriguing too like a force from another world breaking in... and you did convince me to have a second look on Opeth and i admit they are very very talented musicians almost to good for their own kind...

I saw Ghost with Iron Maiden and it was incredible. I really want to see Cardinal Coppia dance some jaunty tasty moves like he does in the RATS video. I’m so glad you saw them ReeRee! I’ve also seen Anthrax, Slayer and Behemoth separately and Slayer was my bread a butter and life goal :)

Ghost... What a band ❤❤ between 2014 and today, I have seen them 6 times. Last time was In Oslo this february. Anthrax and Slayer are two of my all time favourites. Last time I saw them was desember last year, they played together In Oslo. That was my third Slayer show and my fifth time with Anthrax.

I really enjoyed twelve foot ninja in Adelaide, and what’s funny is it rained the night they played here as well so they brought the rain with them 😂😂😂 I think we got the same shirt, I also got way too drunk and rambled to Voyager about how great they are which I felt truly embarrassed about the next day!

They really did bring with rain with them! They played the Gold Coast the day before Brisbane and there was nothing but rain for those two nights. I mean, we needed the rain, but it was crazy!!!

Can't think of extreme weather-shows to be honest! Mostly hot ones, which is quite surprising since I mostly go to shows/festivals in Holland. Being in Europe, I've been lucky to see quite a lot of "big names" multiple times, like Slayer and Anthrax (that last one even performed at the venue I do volunteer work, how cool is that!). Behemoth live is such a cool show as well, loved them (also, very lucky to have seen them on multiple occasions). Ghost had a cool show, but the music isn't for me. :)

ngl i cant stand Ghost but i am shocked at how small the venue is because they play way bigger places here in the US. But damn Zeal & Ardor sound perfect even from your clip! i don't think i've ever been caught in the rain D: but i went to hellfest in 2017, and it was 90-100f every day.. definitely the hottest!

Not related to weather, but when I saw Slayer, people were starting fires at the amphitheater and moshing around themwhile screaming slayer lyrics. when we left the concert everyone’s car started breaking down including ours. Highway patrol had to shut down the freeway. To this day we called it the Bermuda Triangle of devil worship and accepted that it was our punishment from our god worshipping ancestors for partaking in such sinful and secular activities 😭🤣😎🤘🏽
