4 CYLINDER CLASS AT DOORSLAMMERS 2023 - SANTA POD RACEWAY

The 2nd biggest class at Doorslammers '23 was the 4 cylinder class, with racers entered from the UK,Poland, Austria, Denmark and Slovakia it really was a true European shootout.
Unfortunately breakages were common in this class right the way through to the dramatic final, enjoy!

Killer video brother. As to be expected at a Doorslammers event this class has such a great variety of cars. I mean im not a VW guy but that VW Bus pickup is a badass build. @4:11 is that a RWD converted Fiesta?

It’s mid mounted so it runs a Mendeola Transaxle, really cool build. Chris the owner tunes Fraudster too 😄

@@mk1kieran Ah okay. Because I started to think & my way would work but if it's mid engine the back of the gearbox would stick out the back bumper LOL. They used this setup on FWD 80's Subaru DL's and GL's. It's just like an AWD setup with engine, clutch, transfer case then gearbox but no driveshaft to the back & obviously no rear diff.
