am surprised you asked such questions?.. Ghana Army needs equipments which we dont have since 1444. If you want to know them, then i will say advanced weapons, weapons systems and weapons training centres, special military intelligence team and advanced satellites and intelligence equipments etc.. Money is to be pushed to defend our nation, but those politicians are building mansions, spending with family, creating selfish opportunities etc and you are happy with it? Should in-case something should in this country, most politicians will fly out of this country to safety and the rest suffer, whiles our armed forces used our old tools and so-called well equipped items to defeat some specially trained commandos from Europe or Middle East????... I have a lot to ask you but its useless to tell you cos not everything you know irrespective of who you might be. I am Self Defense Expert and no a soldier though, but i see my qualities to be an Advanced Soldier without a gun!!!!!!!!!! i know lots of friends in the US ARMY, MARINES, US NAVY , NATO AND EU FORCES AND SOME FEW INTERNATIONAL GOVERNMENT MERCENARIES SECURITY, and the tools they use is far better and well advanced as compared to all of what we have in Africa.. What is the responsibilities of our government and leaders?? Do you expect Civilians to get the needed combat tools and protective items ourselves.. Individuals too have their own methods of defense though, but cant protect the masses, thats why our leaders needs to rectify and address this issues. They should rather making useless use of our money(taxes) and invest in the economy, growth and defense of our country... American and Asians invests much into their defense and defensive systems, but our politicians invest into luxuries and self-selfishness etc. etc. etc.

Just one question mortar training, tanks, helicopters, rpgs should be used. Because war isnt that linear, they neeed some air support, and mortar to flush the enemy, so they can flank.

Ghanaians are warriors and even should the soldiers fail when we come under invasion, the citizens will fight of the enemies. Ghana has one of the best shooters in the world and not just in Africa. Ghanaian military don't only Train in Ghana, they Train in different countries too.
